Staying at your calorie goal is important, filling yourself on nutrient rich food is also important, but the occasional not good for you but oh so delicious meal where you still stay at or under your calorie goal is A-OK. Just remember that the more you focus on the actual nutrients you are ingesting the better you will…

I go over on sugar pretty much every day, it's always fruit fresh fruit that throws me over, so I have decided that I am ok with that. If it were processed sugar I would try to cut back.

My all time favorite is the P90X yoga DVD, it's 90 minutes and the first 45 are TOUGH. I don't know if you can buy it by itself, but I seriously love it.

I like to manage daily, not weekly, so no idea if this would work. If I know I am going out with friends, or having a treat one day, I just double up on the exercise so that I have calories to spare for that day.

I tried a couple, and my taste buds decided that Jif Natural was as natural as they were willing to go. As far as mayonnaise goes, I ended up with Hellman's olive oil mayo, a little better for you, and still tastes good.

in general women tend to make excuses when receiving a compliment instead of just saying 'thank you'. Work on just responding with a "Thank you, I feel great!" and move on. 130 at 5"8" isn't unrealistic, and if that is where you will feel most comfortable, then go for it.

cherry tomatoes - but please don't put them in the fridge, it ruins the flavor. Cucumbers with a little salt or pepper are delicious. Snap peas, zucchini or yellow squash sliced in spears are good as well.

I found the South Beach diet to be especially helpful for me, my husband and I did it together to keep each other motivated and on track. Once I figured out my nutritional needs and how to balance my food intake I added exercise - I lost 20 pounds on South Beach the first go round without exercise. It worked really well…

Any diet that removes the macro nutrients that you need for your body to function is a no go. Protein only sounds like an incredibly bad idea.

I had a regular coke during our 7 hour drive on Sunday... paired with a chicken sandwich from Wendy's. I haven't had a coke or fast food in like 8 months, I felt like total crap for about 5 hours afterword. My digestive system was NOT HAPPY. It will probably be another 8 months before I think a coke and fast food sandwich…

Stevia is a plant - and not one that is bio-engineered. You can grow it in your garden and use the leaves to sweeten whatever you like. It has a slight black licorice taste to it, but is a great natural sweetener - not artificial.
