I am going over on my sugars, but it is because of the fresh fruit im eating. Is this ok?

If the quality of your sugars is ok ( if your carbs aren't generally glycemically aweful), I wouldn't worry too much about what MFP says about your total sugars. Just my 2 cents.

I go over on sugar pretty much every day, it's always fruit fresh fruit that throws me over, so I have decided that I am ok with that. If it were processed sugar I would try to cut back.

I think as long as you're eating a balanced diet and not overdoing it on the fresh fruit, it's not a problem.

This is the same problem that I experience. My sugar is always double (or more) what the MFP goal is...and probably 80% (or more) of those sugars are from fresh fruit and Greek yogurt. Obviously sometimes I am having sugar-y things like homemade cookies, but not every day, for sure. Sugar is the ONLY goal that I am consistently not meeting every day, and if I were to cut out fresh fruit I could easily meet that goal...and that right there seems to be the answer to my own question. Cutting out fresh fruit, which is also my favorite type of snack, wouldn't be worth it just so that I could be within that grams-of-sugar goal.
