my trainer is not happy about me starting this program. He said there is alot of injury associated w/it and since I have a pretty good program @ the gym, he is afraid I'm going to over do it. I'll have to take it day by day and see what my body is capable of. He also said I'm not coordinated enough! lol. He's 100% right…

I'd like to know if other people do other cardio or weights as well. I go to the gym 3 - 4x a week and do something different each time (body pump, spin, trx training, weights).... wondering if I should back off of that.

I was able to do weights but no cardo. i almost passed out in spin class, so I left after only 5 mins. my cycles seem to be getting worse the older I get...

my new fav meal. 1 pack 99% lean ground turkey. Score into 4 squares (4 servings). shread 1/2 cup carrot and 1/2 cup zuchinni, mix w/one serving ground turkey & fry in a non stick sillet sprayed w/pam. you can make about 4 good size patties.. less than 200 calories and 1g fat.

califlower is great roasted. a little olive oil, s & P and roast at 400 until brown. my 7 year old loves it too!

I think I'll pick up some of that whey tomorrow. sounds so good. The protein powder I use now has some fat - so it would be nice to have a cleaner option. Can anyone recommend a favorite brand?

what the difference from whey protein vs isolate? i never heard of isolate before....

sprouted whole grain bread is a good choice. Ezekiel is a good name.. I saw Rudy's (I think that was it) in costco freezer today, but didn't get it.. but might next time. I keep the bread in the fridge.

Food here sucks too.. i'm used to fresh fish, the local bakery, and yes, pizza! I worked in Metuchen for a while.. looooooong time ago! Small world!

oh i'll be loading up on sodium a few days before pic day... for sure. then.. it's game on. ! i did pay extra for 3 personal training sessions. and I am also thinking about joining the small group training. I've been at the gym at least 3x a week since Sept w/no results. TRX and powerplate training is offered at my gym. 10…

Athenaheim, it is 12 week challenge that Gold's Gym is offering. (body transformation type of challenge). I'm not sure of all the details yet, but my weight in is at 10:30am on Sunday.

I have heard great things about Jamie Eason's Live Fit Trainer. Its nice because you can click on an exercise and it will show you a short video on how to perform the exercise correctly. Angry Trainer is another great sight.

maybe too much kale. it's hard to drink down.. but i will. i'll maybe add 1/2 banana next time to sweeten it up. i'll take it w/me and drink it on the way to the gym.
