I normally weigh every day, but I promised by boyfriend (and trainer) that I'm going to try weighing once every 4 weeks. It's killing me. LITERALLY. But I'm going okay so that shouldn't be too hard this week. SUGAR! I'm a huge sugar fiend. I usually blow it by about noon. This one's going to be really tough for me!!…

Sorry I'm a little behind on the get-go! I'm at my parents house for the break and I've been pretty limited to the app on my phone. My name is Kaleigh, I'm 21 years old, and I go to Texas A&M University. I'm unnecessarily excited about this challenge because it's EXACTLY what I need to help keep me focused this week and…

Okay, QOTD Thursday: Do you think stress makes it easier or harder to stick to your goals, and how do you cope with stress? For me, stress makes it harder because I'm an emotional eater. In order to deal, I just try really hard to cope in healthy ways like meditation, cardio, strength training, and yoga.

Oo! My favorite low cal snack is melon type fruit because I get SOOOO full on barely any calories. Other than that, 60 calorie sugar free Jello pudding cups or individual bluebell sherbet cups. As you can see, I'm a bit of a sweet tooth ;-) When I want something salty, I like the 100 calorie natural popcorn bags by Orville…

Thursday QOTD: While it's true that I DO want to look hot, the actual reasons behind me wanting to lose weight run a lot deeper than that. Honestly, I started sucking in my stomach when I was 7 or 8 years old (it's one of those specific memories--I remember my mom saying, "You're way too young to be worrying about your…

Wednesday QOTD: Yes, unfortunately, I've been here before. However, I like to think this time is different because instead of my goals being " workout and eat right to lose weight" (which, at best, only lasts a few months), my goals are actual athletic ones (like complete a triathlon) that require a ton of exercise &…

Tuesday QOTD: I think we all struggle with eating well, especially when eating out. How do you deal with restaurants and get-togethers? I have a couple of strategies myself! Restaurants: I scope out the menu on MFP before I even get there/go in, that way I have a plan, don't need to look at the menu and see all the…

Great job!! How much have you lost? You look amazing, even all bundled up in that coat!!

Finally made it to the thread! Sorry it took me so long, ladies... My life has been HECTIC lately! Unfortunately I also had a rough weekend, but I'm looking forward to really coming in under my calories and increasing my exercise this week. I'm super proud of how well we're doing as a team (even though I'm not helping…

Oh! And Peanut, do pull-ups count for the challenge? I'm doing a ridiculous pull up workout tonight that will definitely get my 50 in ;-p

Monday QOTD: I'd want Jillian Michael's for sure. Mostly because she's both inspiring AND a little bit scary. I don't think she'd accept any slacking off!

MONDAY QOTD: What exercise combinations work best for you/do you see the best results with?? I love CrossFit type exercises because I enjoy the combination of cardio and strength. I.E. burpees, 2k row + squats, anything that keeps my mind of either strict cardio or strength :)

Le sigh. I guess I'm going to have to BRING IT and try to stay under my sugar goal (I ALWAYS go over) :( My goal is to try and lose 1-2 lbs this week. So at best 148.8. Let's see if I can do it!

I'm reading a book about triathlon training that had some interesting things to say: 1) You know the rules, -500 calories a day will yield 1 lb of fat loss a week. HOWEVER, the old belief that "a calorie is a calorie" isn't necessarily true--turns out, you'll lose more weight via calorie reduction than with 500 calories…

HOLY CRAP!! I literally just pulled my boyfriend over to show him what a drastic change you've had! You truly look amazing, so congratulations--all your hard work as definitely paid off and I'm VERY inspired :)

EDIT!!!! I just realized I accidently said to cook the chicken (in the Chicken & Green Bean "Casserole" recipe) for 95 minutes on 400 degrees, I meant 300!!! Whew! We almost had some burnt chicken breasts on our hands!

I'm a poor college student, so I like to make meals that are inexpensive, easy, and produce TONS of leftovers :) Chicken & Green Bean "Casserole" What you'll need: 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts Chicken Worchestershire sauce/marinade Tony's seasoning 2 cans condensed Low Fat, Low Sodium Cream of Mushroom Soup 1 large…

QOTD Friday~~What is the one type of food that your crave the most but know you should eat AND how do you control that craving? I love sweets!! So I keep dark chocolate kisses (20 cals each) in my freezer so when I get a craving, I pop one or two of those and move on :D

Monday QOTD: When I know it's going to be a busy/hectic day, I try to plan out my eating opportunities. I pack snacks for when I think there are going to be snack breaks, and if I know I have to eat lunch out I look at what options I'm going to have and check them on MFP before I eat them so I know I'm not going too far…

Wed QOTD: What is the one unhealthy food that you could never and i mean never ever!!!!!! give up in a million years???? This is a toughy for me because I feel like I've done a pretty good job of cutting out most "unhealthy" foods from my diet... However, I love dark chocolate. When I think "I want something sweet" it's…

Monday's QOTD: I'm Kaleigh :) I'm a 21 year old college student and I'm running my first half-marathon on Sunday!! I'm working on becoming an endurance athlete and I'm starting crossfit and triathlon training as soon as I finish my half :) I have a boyfriend named Daniel who's a personal trainer and he's been incredibly…

BRING IT, RED!! :D I'm so excited, you guys. I really, really, really intend to drop weight this time. I assume we're starting on Monday, but my weight right now is 149.8 so let's shoot for 142-145 at the end of this session. Plus, I love red. Talk about a sexy color ;)

You know, surprisingly there are a lot of things I like about my appearance (more now that I'm toning up some, but still). I LOVE that I'm an hourglass/pear. I have a tiny waist for my size (5'4, 150-some-odd lbs, measurements 36-28-41) and I wouldn't trade that for the world, but I would love to shed a little boob and…

I've got a busy day tomorrow so I'm going to go ahead and ask the question so I don't forget! Monday's QOTD: Is there a famous person (with a realistic body type similar to yours) who's body you use as inspiration? Mine is probably Kim Kardashian because she's the same kind of curvy as me, just a little more (and…
