If you can open your diary you're going to get better responses. From what you said you probably aren't eating enough. Oh and great abs are made in the kitchen, not in the gym. How you look is 80% what you eat, 10% workout and 10% genetics.

If you lost 1.5lbs every other week for a year you'd lose 40lbs! its all about consistency over time.

Google The Anti-jared, I think you will find his story inspiring!

I have had bouts of depression over the years and I have been on and off medication for it. however, I hate the side effects, so I have made a promise to myself to not go back on medication (i'm not judging medication, I just dont' like it for me. I think its beneficial and necessary for many). Since I made this promise,…

Start where you can, add on more as you go.. work up to longer periods.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. So for now I might take out your binge days but it seems like what you really need to do is find a better way of dealing with your emotions. Something triggers you. Make a list of things you can do other than eat when you are…

The scale is only one way of measuring so good for you... take your measurements as well and you may see inches lost.

That's a tough situation. Perhaps you could designate a cupboard for the junk food, that way you never need to go in there? other than that I think you're going to have to find things to distract yourself wtih.. and super super discipline. Be strong!! write down your reasons for doing this and keep them handy!

If you dropped one egg on the floor would you throw the other 11 after it? Get out of the all or nothing mentality. Slip ups happen.. its inevitable, doesn't mean you have to throw away your entire week. Set limits for yourself. you get one "treat" meal a week.. everything else has to be one plan. Its all about discipline.…

I did this once, the buy in was $35, I hit my goal and ended up getting about $15 back as well as my original $35. If you're motivated by not losing money its great. I would recommend it.

Welcome! there's tons of information on here so look over the boards. Set up your goals and start tracking what you're eating. See where you are and where you can make better choices. Start choosing whole foods (lean meats, fruits, veggies and whole grains). Its a learning process so be gentle with yourself. Remember, you…

I've seen pics where a person can look completely different and yet weigh exactly the same on the scale. Personally i'd rather fit into a size smaller in clothing than see a smaller number on the scale. The scale is only one measurement, don't let it rule everything.

You're going to get a ton of this but if you are burning 650 cals per day plus butt lift and only eating 1000 cals a day. you aren't eating enough and your body thinks its starving. So it won't lose any extra weight bc it needs what it has to survive. eat more.

I also vote for Jay Robb, although only the vanilla. Can't stand the chocolate.. blecchh :) Its a little more expensive but with protein powder you get what you pay for.

Life is too short for toxic people. she clearly has her own issues and makes herself feel better by trashing other people. I personally don't play into it when women complain they are "fat".. either do something about it or quit complaining. You have to decide if the negativity is worth still being friend with her. Or you…

I workout at 5:30/6am most days. I usually will do some energy chews so I'm not completely empty. My nutritionist recommended 6oz orange juice but it upsets my stomach. It really is about what works for you.

If you are doing strenuous lifting yes you need a day of rest. Strength gains are when you allow the muscle to recover. This being said you can actively rest, so go for a light walk or swim, nothing too strenuous. Just because you have a rest day doesn't mean you have to sit on your a** all day.

Its just one meal, one meal will not kill you.. do the workout but most importantly just get right bank on track. In the long run it won't make a difference :)

Do your clothes fit loser?

that people will forget you were once overweight. I lost 50lbs, my sister is still heavy. She now refers to me as "the lucky one" because I'm thin.. umm?? I used to be fat?? I'm not lucky, I don't get to eat what I want and I get to workout. ...

Take it one day/one meal at a time, make a list of why you want this.. recommit to your goals. You can do this!!
-
Good luck! you can do this, do it for you, do it for your daughter. I believe PCOS is made worse by extra weight? but I could be wrong with that. There's a ton of support on here. Remember to ask for help when you need it and take it one day at a time.

I log in everyday (multiple times!) and my diary is open. I don't do les mills but I am training for a triathlon.

You can always walk your bike, I call it cross training.. haha! You'll never tackle those hills if you don't start somewhere. As for the 5K's.. nothing is as motivating as signing up for a race and race day energy is awesome. So bottom line, just do it!
-
Yes you can do it!! great job!

recognize the emotion and find another way to deal with it. I'm angry, I want to eat but instead i'm going to workoff my anger. I'm sad i want to eat but instead I'm going to call a friend. I'm happy and I want to eat but instead I'm going to post online. Remember, if hunger is not the issue, food is not the answer.

Okay, so giving up won't accomplish anything, you'll just have more weigh to lose. You'll feel better if you stay strong. I love the saying "if you're tired of starting over, stop quitting". You can do this. firstly TOM totally affects weight loss, my weight is ALWAYS up that week so give yourself a break. Make a list of…

Anything that cuts out a huge food group (carbs) will have you losing weight but chances are you'll gain it back when you eat carbs again.
