Thanks! And am I right to remember the only muscle group I can work on consecutive days is core? For other muscle groups, don't work consecutive days?

Me!!! I'm a SAHM. Well, kind of. I do stay at home with my daughter, but I own my own children's clothing business, so I also sew 50+ hours a week. :)

I <3 PB and refuse to give it up. I typically plan part of my day around reserving calories for an organic apple and PB at night. It's my indulgence that I look forward to all day. :)

It really depends on your size and current fitness level. I'm only burning between 300-400 for a 40 minute workout.

This. Call your doctor.

I think I'm in the minority, but I found 30DS to be incredibly boring. I just started Insanity on Thursday and it's anything but boring! It is super intense and I'm loving it so far.

Wow! I have back dimples and always thought it was because I had a little extra weight on me. I never knew they were a trait others wanted.

Good grief! Nevermind, I'll mind my own business and let the kid keep posting. Though I will say, I find it ironic that everyone is fine to get in someone else's business when it comes to dolling out "advice" on diet, calories, exercise regime, but when it comes to something like this, it's basically mind your own…

Haha...it's a kid pretending to be an adult to have a profile here. But whatever. :)

Bump?

You only eat 1000-1200 calories? I would put you in the category of those that barely eat - you know, the ones that annoy you.
-
Initially, that had been my thought as well! Bummer!
-
How tall are you? I'm 5"2' - I started at 152ish and am now at 140. I don't feel like I look any different. My face might be a little thinner and my upper body might be a bit smaller - but no huge changes. My clothes are fitting better though and I've gone down a pant size. I figure the next 10 pounds is where the big…

I just started Insanity yesterday. I'm in! I can restart on Monday.

The ability to click on links from the app. Like if one of my friends posts or replies to a topic, I'd like to be able to click on it and it take me directly to the thread instead of having to open Safari and then go to MFP, etc.

I mean this in the nicest possible way.....Suck it up and get over it. Learn to like it. Drink it and tell yourself you like it. Realize that it's what's best for your body and fuel your body properly. Aside from that - my advice would be trying it at varying temperatures. I personally don't care for ice cold water. I like…

We have a deep freezeBEST investment we've made for our house! So when things are on sale - like frozen veggies and chicken, I stock up and freeze meal-sized portions. When I make healthy soups, I freeze half. I make homemade chicken nuggets (so my daughter can be like her friends and eat nuggets) that are FULL of veggies…

I found it kind of boring. However, it was a good workout and at 22 minutes long, it was incredibly convenient.

I just started yesterday..... Starting stats: Beginning weight (1/1/12): 152 Current weight: 140 Age: 26 Height: 5"2'

I must admit that during Christmastime, I still like to play my 'Nsync Christmas album.

I'm most of the way through Mockingjay. It's dragging for me. I finished the first two books in three days. I've been trying to read this one for about two months!

I'm convinced it's incredibly important. However, my toddler still doesn't STTN most nights, so I do the best I can.

It actually sounds like you personally have the least to lose since you don't have any daytime obligations. As a parent, though, I'd have to do what's in the best interest of my child. I'd also get a job - I'd be so bored doing nothing during the day!

I'm 5'2". My calorie goal is currently 1600 - just upped from 1400. I eat back some of my exercise calories.
-
I'm starting on Thursday!
-
I have some and wouldn't be opposed to getting other things. I have two adjustable dumbbells - 5-25 pounds, a 10 pound weighted ball (for Russian twists), and exercise ball, and an elliptical machine. Bump in case anyone else has any opinions. :)
-
Agree with this. 1. Don't lock your knees, but do try RDLs. They also work my hamstrings pretty well. 2. IMO, avoid all the leg machines. They are far worse on my bad knees than squats and lunges. Also, it sounds like we have similar kneed problems. I cannot do static lunges, but I've found that walking lunges are a bit…

It wouldn't make me any less of a SAHM at all. But me getting ready to do that = loss of income. Continuing the gym = adding a monthly bill.
