I was confused about if I should or should not eat back calories. Here is a thread that really helped me!! http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1235591-net-calorie-intake?hl=net+calories#posts-19345197

I have a mini-crockpot that I use to warm up foods because I am anti-microwave. Would that be an option? Holds about 2 cups of food and warms it up in 2-3 hours (approx).

I have friends and co-workers who say I overdo it but I figure my body would let me know if it was too much. I am trying to fit a rest day in...might have to request for the gym to change their class schedule  Thnak you!
-
Wow! That's awesome!! If I was not working during the day I probably would be at the gym doing all the fabulous classses they only have during the day. :ohwell:
-
That is not an issue LOL. I eat every three hours  Thank you.

I am just coming out of a lifting routine because I need to slim down some. It is mostly cardio and yes...nothing high impact. If weights are used they are very light because it is all aerobic/cardio. I plan on eventually keeping the morning routine and adding the strength training back in 3 evenings a week. Thanks!!

I always worry about calories. I usually try to keep it around 1,500 calories total. I get about 7.5 hours of sleep (I try for 8) and count my yoga days as rest days. Thanks for your response.

Fitbit throws me off because their food data base sucks. I'm back and forth from this app to checking my steps. Does the polar go around the arm. I looked into that one when I was looking at the Nike Fuelbands. Thanks.
-
Thanks.....I do feel fine and I have no problems getting through my evening workout. Guess I'll just have to figure out what works for me.
-
Awesome!! I will look online tomorrow and get rid of this pointless Fitbit. Thanks again!
-
No, but I am in the process of getting one. I got this fitbit instead and don't care for it. Can you suggest a particular one? I've been looking around online for a watch one for the last week and a half. Thanks

Less workouts and new routine with the kickboxing. I'm going to have to probably add good high calorie foods like nuts and avocado....as long as my net is at least 1200 I should see results, correct? Thanks
-
Yes, I read that on another post yesterday. Guess I will have to up my calories. It's just so hard. I already eat 5-6 times a day. Thank you!
-
I want to do the challenge...I don't have a copy though..can I do it off of YouTube??
-
Thank you everyone for the responses..I will take them all into consideration!!

thank you :)

I defiantly get adequate amounts of protein and fat, I will add peanuts fat consumption is low but want to make sure I don't need the extra carbs. I know when I was doing P90X it was suggested.
-
I weigh about 170 and I'm trying to lose 20 lbs. I consume a lot of carbs/sugars through grapefruits which I eat three daily along with one other serving of fruit. Three meals a day and 2 snacks a day. When I do eat bread it is multi-grain and I usually only have half a serving. I consume no more then 1200 calories a day.…
-
I've done P90X in the past and always had to make sure I was eating enough which was tough...that's what has me worried about not consuming anything prior to my jog but I do have enough energy on the empty stomach so I dunno!! Thanks all!!
-
Yes, it certainly is my goal :) Just didn't know if I was doing harm by not eating. Thanks!!

You can meditate on anything. Candle gazing, breathing, chanting. So pretty much free-style. I want to try the cds also but those are the ways I was taught. How did they have you meditate last night?
-
Thanks..guess I have to get that thing working.
