my trainer who is a guy.. about 2 yrs ago when i started working out with him and i hated lifting and he made me do it 2x a week. realizing how strong i actually was he kept pushing me even when i thought i couldnt....now i lift 5x a week and only do cardio 2-4

Im so not trying to gain weight this winter! my goal is to actually lose 10lbs this winter. Im allowing myself one day a week or every 2weeks to party and drink and then on my birthday to eat like a fat *kitten* Jan. 9th

I dont necessarily think people are bashing cardio in its entirety, I think it is more of bashing a steady pace cardio that your body gets use to. I see more promotion of 20-30 minutes of High Intensity cardio and calling it a day and trying to rid the mindset "i need to run for hours long"

if you are trying to drop weight quickly without killing yourself just do a protein diet...i do it 2wks before i go away all the time.... for lifelong sustainable living limit carbs and have high fat, high protein and maybe 2days a week with higher carbs which will cut cravings

yup even started carb cycling so on the days im not lifting my trainer has me at 50g carb.
