I have the same problem. Hope it gets resolved soon.

I prefer the real thing, but I compromise by eating turkey bacon at home and real bacon if I’m out. For turkey bacon, I find there is a lot of difference between brands. I like Oscar Mayer Turkey Bacon better than most of the others I’ve tried.

There is usually a setting for serving size and also a setting for the number of servings. If I want to log 5 oz of something, for example, I'll set the serving size to 1 oz and the number of servings to 5. This may not be too logical but it does work.

Just once a week - Sunday mornings. I don't want to be bothered by the daily fluctuations which are normal, but will make you crazy.

I weigh myself and log it once week, always on Sunday morning if possible. I know many are into daily weighing, but my engineering/scientific background tells me that is a bit foolish. Like trying to measure the depth of the ocean during a major storm. But you've gotta do whatever you're comfortable with.

OK thanks much for that info. But I just compared two database entries for Medifast Blueberry Muffin soft bake. One said net carbs and the other did not. The nutritional content seemed identical though.

I may cheat from time to time but I never lie to the MFP logger. That is my primary ground rule.

I love oatmeal. I make it on the stovetop with Old Fashioned Quaker Oats. While it's cooking, I throw in a few raisins. Not too many. When it's done, I mix in some Walden Farms pancake syrup and about a tbsp of 1% milk. I'm about ready to go to bed, but now I'm craving oatmeal! I know what I'm having for breakfast tomorrow.

At home I use a packet of TruVia and 1% milk. At work I substitute fat free Coffee-Mate for the milk.

I've been in maintenance for a little over a year. I started using a tracker when I started transitioning off my weight loss diet and have use it daily ever since. I started with the Medifast tracker, then switched to MFP about a month ago. To me, daily logging is the only way to succeed. It is part of my daily routine and…

I'm doing great. I lost 65 lbs last year on Medifast and have been maintaining for a year. I'm 56 but feel more like 36. Nuff said.

I can tell you what works for me. The motivation must come from within. Welcome and good luck this time around. I know you will do it!

I was driving to work. It was a beautiful morning and the biggest thing in the news was frequent shark attacks. Suddenly, you didn't hear much about the shark attacks any more.

My wife is very supportive. We both started our diet plans together in Feb 2011. We each chose different plans, but ate more or less the same dinner every night. Shame on anyone's spouse that doesn't give them support when making a positive change in their life. I can understand the situations where someone makes a feeble…

IMHO, the secret to controlling your eating habits is to log all of your food into a tracker like MFP. You must be accurate and honest so you stay accountable. I wouldn't be able you control my eating habits either, but I have successfully maintained my 65 lbs weight loss for over a year. I'm convinced it's the only way.…

LL Bean sells a nice insulated soft lunch box. Been using that for a year or so. Very handy.

I have the same problem. I keep my iPod next to me at the dinner table and I log everything that I'm eating. My wife blew up at me one day because of it. I told her I'm sorry, but that's the only way I can do it. If I don't log everything, I know I will overeat. Stick to your guns. My wife is very supportive and is dieting…

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe there is no way to do this without doing the conversion yourself. This was the main reason I dropped MFP when I first tried it last year. Some of the food items have multiple units to choose from, but the ones created by users typically do not. Hopefully they will do something…

Honestly, I just can't comprehend the spousal anti-support issues. My wife and I luckily started our weight-loss journey together, although we were each on a different diet plan. I'm pretty sure that if either one of us was doing it alone, we'd still be supportive. What's the point of being married if you can't count on…

I recommend logging everything and staying accountable. You are just fooling yourself if you only log the losses.
