5" 6' and 154.5 lbs and between an 8 and a 10 in jeans and pants. I can wear my daughters size 8 american eagle jeans but it causes a slight muffin top and I don't like that they sit so low.

IDK. i struggle with this too. I have never had a deficit of more than 400. I will usually eat a small snack and not worry about a couple of hundred. As long as I eat between 1200 and 1500 total, I do not worry about the deficit from exercise at the end of the day so much. I know there will be that inevitable family event…

I find that I eat less during the day if I start the day with something high in protein. Either an egg and a piece of toast or a protein bar. Personally I like the zone dark chocolate almond bar. it is loaded with protein, and satisifies my choclate craving. I eat them for breakfast on the go with a glass of soymilk. :smile:

Remember you are still in a deficit for the day or at worst maintenance. I would not stress about it for one day. At the same time to go under a little is okay once in a while too.
