I've only been on Depo for about three months. So far I haven't noticed anything drastic. It made me break out a lot at first, but that's calmed down. I did gain a little bit of weight a month or so after I got the shot, but I think that was just from getting off track.

I'm set to lose a half pound a week, and my daily goal is 1730. I get a lot of exercise, and don't usually get up to that number.

I'm 5'9'', and my daily calorie limit is 1730. I'm set to lose a half pound a week. I think as a tall person, you have to lose more weight for people to notice, but you have to gain more weight for it to be noticeable.

Nutella. It is truly my Achilles' Heel. I cannot stop, and I don't realize how much I've eaten until I look down and half the jar is gone :( it's so horrible for you, and so so high in calories. I just don't keep it around me, and then it's okay :)

Mellow Mushroom is so good. I would actually recommend one of their subs, the tempeh one is delicious. BUT! Their subs are still very high in calories, so get a 6 inch and don't get any appetizers, they're all calorie bombs.

Whole wheat breads and tempeh have been a big help to me.

This morning I mashed up 1/4 of an avocado and spread it on some whole-wheat toast. It was delicious! A nice change.

The Veganomicon is great, it has every kind of recipe. But, it's going to be better if you're already someone who cooks, as most of the recipes require a bit of preparation. Also go to vegweb.com, they have everything. Best of luck :)

If I need a fast dinner, I have a Boca All-American burger with tomato slices and basil (the chopped kind in the tube) on a whole wheat sandwich thin, some fruit, and maybe sweet potato fries. Delicious :)

Not eating regular meals, not eating meals that filled me up. I used to have HORRIBLE portion control. Overeating, not taking time to savor food. Binging on candy and other cheap junk. Not taking liquid calories into account. Never working out.
