Since you don't eat seafood other options for Omega 3 in your diet would be nuts, olive oil, and avocado; all sources of "good" fat. Also an increase in cardio exercise can help.

As long as there is no lightening I will run in the rain.. stuff newspapers in your shoes after to help them dry out.

I am not lactose intolerant but recenlty found out my son and we are adjusting to this. Would it be okay to join your group? He is really struggling with this as he LOVED milk! :sad:

I am with several other responders. It has always been my understanding that it needs to be with in an hour of the workout and you will still get the benefits.

Stop thinking of food as a reward. That doesn't mean cut out all the foods you love, eat them in moderation and love every minute of it. Just don't reward yourself with food, it is a trap. Reward yourself with a nice purse, pair of shoes, dress... etc.!

Any success I have had with limit carbs has only been temporary, and not only did I lose weight I also lost all of my energy as well. I count all the time spent when lifting.. meaning my rest time too. I do not allow myself to rest for more than 30 sec. to a minute between sets though and try to keep my HR up for the entire 1 hour session. I

Only log plain water as water. I do log my coffee as food because i add just a bit of cream to it. I don't bother to log my diet drinks even though I probably should.

I went meatless for the entire month of March. It was a great challenge and I didn't really miss the meat at all. I didn't stick with it but I do go meatless at least 2x a week now. I think it is a great idea.

Wear layers and fabric closest to your body should be the kind that pulls moisture away from you. For me personally I have to have my ears covered or it is a deal breaker. Also warm socks. When choosing your place to run make sure it is a well cleared area for snow and ice, black ice is dangerous for us runners too.

Both are awesome weight loss tools.
