thank you for your advice everyone. I think you are all right and I will keep my opinions to myself, but will introduce her to MFP and maybe take her to a vegan restaurant. Those are great tips! She has been at it for about 3 weeks now, so I am surprised to say she's lost 10lbs (she is about 70lbs overweight) and doesn't…

Hi :) I am posting again. I am 5'9, lost just over 50lbs and am looking to lose about 15 more. SW: 219 CW:168 GW: around 155ish Feel free to add me, wherever you are along your journey. I aim for all over health and my posts reflect that (most of the time lol)

I get hit on quite a bit, to be honest, and I have since I was 14. I think it is more the energy you put out. For a while, it stopped when I was overweight (for the most part) but I think that was because I was emitting a different energy. I was self conscious and wanted to disappear in a crowd. Now that I am feeling…

Sarahs2576, let's go dance! :)

Hi Ruth :) I have arthritis (one area being my knees) so low impact exercises are important for bad knees! I usually mix it up with my elliptical (much nicer on the knees than most machines), swimming, yoga, pilates, general floor exercises and lots and lots of stretching! How about we add each other and we can help…

Feel free to add me :) love having more friends!!

I think this is my third or fourth attempt, and I have been at the weight loss game (actually losing weight - 50lbs so far!) for about a year now. In the year, I've come and gone from MFP, at times not deeming it necessary, but now that I am at the last 15 or so lbs, I really need to stick with it in order to keep sight of…

I have seen a bit of change - I went from a full DD to about a D, DD on good days. (lost about 50lbs so far, from 220 to 170) but what I have really noticed is lack of fullness, there is definitely more sag than before which SUCKS because I am childless and only 22! I was ready to accept that when I had children but c'mon.

it really depends on my overall willpower that day. Sometimes I say a treat is okay because I ate crap all day, but there are certain points that feel like there is no turning back for that day (even though that isn't true!) and I just indulge all day. Sundays are my cheat days of sorts because I go to my parents for…

what's the page Kelli? Would love to join! Thanks for all the support everyone! Glad to know people are becoming aware of what is going on. Feel free to add me if you haven't already!

I know I am not - hence the question :) I have 5,10, and 15 lb weights. Would this work? I also have resistance bands, an elliptical, a jump rope, and my laptop! haha

thanks for all the tips everyone! Definitely checking out that nerd fitness, and Gillian Michaels total body revolution. At this point in my life, a gym membership still isn't for me, I am a full time student, and a part time employee. I use the classes at school (hence the zumba, and I am doing barre next semester) but…

I am not afraid of lifting at all - I just don't use a gym. I have an elliptical at home, and I do those workout videos with free weights. Any other at home/outside ideas?

Yes absolutely! (As long as you're buying :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: ) Would you give a stranger a foot rub?

Hey! I am 5'9 but my goals seems to differ a bit. SW: 219 lbs CW: 205 lbs GW: 165-170 lbs I have been that weight before and I felt strong and fit. I was about a size 10 and it worked well for me. My body shape has changed since then (last time I was 160 I was a teenager) so I will really have to see how my body settles in…

Holy Crap, are you kidding me? That is rude!! Some people. & to the girl who clearly needs to take a chill pill - We have ALL worked in customer service/retail industry in our lives once before. Just because you're bitter and beaten down, does not mean we all are. In no way was his comments acceptable or appropriate. For…

Yeah, I wouldn't consider it an augmentation surgery till later in life. I'm only 19. I know they've still got a lot of changing to do and they sit where they should, so I'm not too worried right now :p

Thanks all so much for the info. I'm a C right now and absolutely loving it, definitely don't want to go back down to a B. Hopefully it was just a natural growth spurt more so than the weight gain, and I'll keep my size a bit! & about the implants, If I do decide that route, I'd probably wait till after children.

Mac is a dream, except for their mascara I find is a little clumpy. Their sheer foundations with spf make my skin perfectly dewey without oil and have minerals, so it's good for you :) If you're looking to go a little cheaper, stick with anything natural and with minerals. These will keep your skin looking nicer…
