I too have been diagnosed with Colitis. I have ulcerative colitis- and have so much inflammation all I do is GAIN weight. I was poisoning myself... It's time for me to get on track and REALLY make some changes. When I'm getting down on myself- sometimes it's worth remembering- I AM WORTH IT. (YOU are TOO)

I can't say I've had this problem, but have you ever tried re-arranging your bedroom? Maybe just sleeping at a different spot than you have been can help relieve this. I'm only guessing since if you sleep anywhere else you don't have this problem. If you do this, let me know how it goes!

I would say I log just about every drink I have... And I love my whiskey... and sometimes I hate myself for it the next day when I finish logging it.. None then less, I like to drink, and as long as I work out and try to eat well, hey, I can have a freakin drink! lol :drinker:

Thanks guys for all the tips! :) I'm a spicy girl, so Frank's hot sauce is definitely on the menu :wink: I love carbs, so that probably isnt the issue... I think I likely over-indulge on those! I'll try the grapefruit juice for sure!

I mostly like clean chests- or a very little amount of hair.... But then I met my husband, and he is very hairy, and I think he is absolutely HOT! :love: So really I guess it doesn't matter either way when it comes down to it... :wink:

I guess it would depend where we were dining and what kind of coupon it was. If it was a newspaper clipping I might chuckle a bit, but if it's a restraunt.com coupon--he paid for that, and it's pretty smart! I get $25 off of $35 spent at the restraunt for a mere $4 online... I totally get what you mean! Back when I was in college, every time I came home my parents felt the urge to state the obvious-- "you're gaining a lot of weight" "you're legs are getting bigger" "you need to go on a diet" etc. It was so hurtful I actually had a sit down with them to explain that I do not want to be around…

Really? Then why does it say that you have a goal of 1200--makes it seem bad when you go over. Congradualates you when you are under the goal.. I'm guessing this is just to get you to work out? But then aren't you supposed to consume back some of those calories?

Try working on toning. Strength excercises that work your back, abs, and thighs. Leg lifts, crunches, rowing.. Do you have a gym you can go to? Purchase a resistance band from Target or Walmart and attach it to the door to get extra burn.
