Are there any foods or beverages that help jump start your metabolism? I've heard that drinking green tea can help but I was wondering if anyone else had advice on what can speed things along?

I've heard spicy tomato juice is good, but have never tried it myself.0

if you add a little hot sauce to your eggs in the morning (just an example), the pepperiness of the hot sauce raises your blood pressure and in turn, raises your metabolism. so get spicy in the am!0

Over induldge in carbohydrates once a week. Carbohydrates boost your leptin hormone levels and also encourage greater conversion of the thyroid hormone T3.0

I'm a spicy girl, so Frank's hot sauce is definitely on the menu
I love carbs, so that probably isnt the issue... I think I likely over-indulge on those!
I'll try the grapefruit juice for sure!0 -

I believe the capcaicin actually reduces blood pressure. But it is a thermogenic to a certain degree, which will help you burn a few more calories when working out.0
