[quote/] I went from a non-runner to running a half marathon in a year and constantly used the "you've already done it" and "just think about all the things you've already done that you told yourself you couldn't do." [/quote] Awesome job! :)

Thank you! I do count my breaths. Usually 4/4 or sometimes it's 2/2. I do find when I just go as in not think about the cycles or the mins it is much better. And I do already a lot of your suggestions as in say a sentence and etc. When I'm in the group on Saturdays doing our next week's "homework" it is not so bad. I…

I am looking for some new Christian buddies too. Feel free to add me. I am 39, turning 40 in November. Like many of you, I have had the desire to lose so that His temple is the best it can be. :)

Okay here is what MFP tells me. My daily burn is 2290 and my BMR is 1696. I read an article on a forum here that says I should eat the bmr amount. If I do that, I should still lose since my daily burn is 2290, right? As I said earlier, I normally average at least 1300 but that doesn't mean it's always the net calories. In…

I was looking at another web page and it said to roughly get that multiply weight by 11. However, MFP says it is 1696. So, with this new number I guess that explains the 1lb loss on avg per week loss. Thanks for answering me though. I posted elsewhere and didn't get a response.

Terrific! :)

Thanks! I didn't see this post before I messaged you. So, sorry you were asked the same questions again. I tried looking for you on FB but couldn't find you. Mine is tammylwv or catapillar.to.butterfly.

I love it with dark chocolate almond milk. My hubby has made it with frozen blueberries and strawberries too and that is very good as well. I found a site that had 100 recipes for the shakes and will probably try that too.

I work out as well. I go to the gym and usually do the elliptical, but sometimes I do the treadmill. I've recently started doing strength training.

Fabulous! Great job; you look wonderful. :)

a few years ago a person I worked with died leaving her husband and 2 yr old twin girls. The cause was from a heart condition that was caused by her use of this drug. It sounds as if you have doubts over this and at the end of the day you need to listen to your gut. i had actually tried that before myself and while it does…

well hi, neighbor! Webb City here. Lived and currently in Joplin though.

this month I'm having a rougher time with TTOM. But to answer your question, you just have to do it. That's what i've done this week. I was more tired but I exercised anyway even if it wasn't up to my normal pace. I still worked out a good intensity but just not the norm.

Some have posted what they try and what is in common are carbs. There good carbs and bad carbs. Good carbs are from fruit/veggies/ grains like whole wheat and etc. They are good for the body and fill you up because of the fiber and water content. If you are snacking or eating up on other types of carbs...there is your…

You two ladies can do it. It is about making your mind up and then following through. Once you have that resolve, you can do anything. :)

Use measurements to track progress too, not just the scale.

You look great! Good going!

I have a form of IBS and depending on how long you have gone...you can up the water, add more fiber, and other ideas that have been suggested. If it's been awhile, you may have to give yourself an enema. The longer feces stays in your colon the drier it becomes because the water is absorbed back into the body, which makes…

Jumping Jacks was my first thought! Hate them because of the jiggly fat that moves everywhere and it does tire me out pretty quick too.

simple arm weights would work. Start out light though. Ab crunches are good as you aren't doing a full situp. Stretches are good too. Maybe you can Google for exercises for bedridden people.

thanks for posting! that is great. I was wondering if Wal-Mart had anything. I looked at Target today and they were out of the size I wanted to get (a size smaller than I'd need). But they are less than $20 for the high waist to mid thigh. Love what you have on though; it does a good job.

I will not quit! I may not finish with you all but I will finish. :) Nothing like having someone use your own words against ya. ;) lol.

big transformation, girl! Nice. :)

The lighter you become, the less calories you will burn. That is when you need to rev up the intensity of the workout or do it longer.

Awesome! We have a similiar build so it's nice to get a lil peek at what I have to look forward too. :)
