This is one of the most incredible transformations I've seen. Congratulations lovely lady--you're an inspiration. :)

Feel free to add me! I'm in the same boat. I'm 21 and directionless and trying to get my *kitten* together. I'm 150 pounds, 5'6", and I'm trying to lose about 20 pounds more (give or take).

I just completed the program this week. Go easy on yourself if you don't want to burn out, three times a week is plenty for a beginner and to build up enough endurance to progress from week to week. Five days a week is fantastic but not always realistic, so go easy on yourself if you don't hit that goal! But it's a good…

I had a best friend like that. For years I struggled with my weight, partly because I couldn't find the motivation within me to lose it, and partly because I had my friend ate exactly like your friend did. He couldn't stand to do anything if I wouldn't do it with him, and since we were always together, I always gave in.…

Running 5k without stopping to walk once. :#

I've learned the hard way that cheat DAYS are bad news, because I slip back into my old "oh it doesn't matter so I'll just eat EVERYTHING!" All good things in moderation; so now I have one (sometimes two) cheat meals per week, usually on Saturday or Friday.

You're a champ. Congratulations!!!
-
Congrats to both of you girls!!! Having a friend to help you through it is so awesome. :) Keep it up!

You look freaking AMAZING, girl! I'm confident you can do anything, so get that acting ON. :) And keep on keeping on.

I try for once a week to prevent the crazy feeling of gaining and losing +- a few pounds daily. ETA: Sometimes I do weigh myself every day, and it really does make me crazy. I speak from experience here, haha.

Amazing! I sometimes struggle to see a 20lb difference in myself, but GIRL, I can see that 5 pound loss! Keep it UP!

I did Pilates for just under a half hour, which is amazing considering I haven't exercised consciously since December... Also, I finally got back on the horse after months of not logging. Whee.

You go, girl! You are beautiful and brave and strong. Keep up the fantastic work. :)
-
Oh my god, you look AMAZING! Keep up the good work!
-
You look friggin' AMAZING. Keep it up!

Thank you so much for the suggestion, what a great idea! Currently downloading the Week 1 playlist from the c25kplaylists.com website. Thank you so much, again! I might also look into buying an interval timer--and thanks for the suggestions, everyone!
-
You look amazing! Keep it up, you'll be at goal in no time :)

I have a question! How do you all time your intervals? Like for example W1D1, alternate :60 jogging with 1:30 walking. I'm not sure what to use to time my runs; I used to use my phone but it's broken now... I'm wondering if I should go to a sports store and take a look around to see what they have because I'm not sure. A…

Feel free to add me! I'm doing my undergrad right now and yup, it's really hard with school, but I'm going to try. Let's keep each other motivated! :)
-
Congrats! Keep going, you're doing fantastically. :)
-
Congratulations! Way to go, girl!
-
Pull ups are super hard. XD Great job!
-
It takes a lot of courage not to let the numbers on the scale dictate how you feel about yourself--let alone to throw it away altogether. :) I'm so happy for you! Congrats on your awesome NSV!
-
You and your friend both look gorgeous! Way to go!

Quite simply: chocolate.

I've been here since September 2011, nearly two years, and I've only lost 10 pounds. What are you implying, that I shouldn't be here because I've only lost that in that amount of time...? I'm not perfect, and neither is anyone else, but to be honest with you, I don't owe you an explanation and neither does anyone else.…

Yup, same. The cigarette always seals the deal. I think I look forward to it more than dessert, which is probably why I've gotten used to not eating dessert anymore (it used to be that I always expected/anticipated sweets after a meal, but I don't anymore.)
