  • I do either heavy weights in the morning and cardio in the evening (or vice versa). I also have a few days a week I do some HIIT and lighter lifting later. I love 2 a days!
  • I do way too much batch cooking. Think 60+ meals at a time. I do everything that people have mentioned but also do a ton of simple things- chicken breasts with rice or roasted yams or roasted potatoes plus 1-2 cups veggies, pork tenderloin or roast beef sliced up in 4 oz servings, ground beef, bison or turkey with 3/4-1cup…
  • Obstacle course races and all the weird wonderful training for it!! Plus weights
  • 42 here....but act like I'm 6. Hope that's okay!
  • I have just recently discovered Victoria Secret's Knockout! I was skeptical of the front closure but will never struggle getting in or out of a sports bra again. I believe they have sizes (online) up to DDD
  • I think so.... 4-6L/day.
  • Thanks! I hadn't thought of coconut water at all. Someone asked why: I have increased my activity substantially and most of it is pretty intense so I sweat a lot. I've started getting dizzy, having muscle cramps and spasms.... Just surprised me, I never paid attention to any of those replacement things before. Thanks all!
  • I'm down overall about 1.5-2 lbs in the last 6 weeks (lots of yo-yo'ing), hence my absolute frustration this morning. I haven't discussed this with her as my number of sessions are up and I don't know if I have seen enough of a value to continue. (That sounds meaner than it is meant to...) I lost 70 lbs of fat before I…
  • 5'4 215 lbs. 46% BF
  • I never thought of doing that for snacks and it would definitely help for grocery shopping/prep! It seems to be only breakfast that I do the same thing all the time. No idea why. Thanks!
  • New vegan but former vegetarian.
  • I am interested. I live downtown so most locations are good for me
  • I make up freezer bags with kale and berries (or half a banana) for future smoothies and pop them in the freezer. I also use chop it up and freeze to add to future soups, stir fries, or if I am feeling adventurous I make soup that day or spaghetti sauce. If it is still in good condition, add to salads, sauces, make kale…
  • Wow! Fantastic job- I admire your dedication to yourself. Thank you for being an inspiration for yourself and others. Words are not really enough to express how amazing your transformation is! p.s. I agree with others- smile in your next pic! :)
  • I don't have a dog but would be up for a walk in the dog park! (I love dogs)
  • WoW- looking forward to Draenor. The Walking Dead Season 2 - and many other Steam things.
  • Lots of these look great and would be a great addition to our meal rotation!!! I look forward to the recipes- thank you for posting and congratulations on your weight loss!
  • I want in!!! I have a gym membership and sadly my current size is 18/20 but am EXCITED to get that reduced!
  • I am dual spec'd holy and shadow. It does seem that there are far more talents focused on dps than heals. Made me sad. My mage....the rotation is so different and tbh, seems weird that as an arcane mage - frost fire is my main attack. Maybe I have become a gamer resistant to change after all these years...lol
  • Oh? I didn't know that!
  • 5'4 and currently at 241....still a long way to go. But making better choices ( not counting tonight) and working out regularly... I have started and stopped many times along the way. Over 3 weeks OP now and am seeing the difference in my mental state. Feel free to add me as well.
  • Wow! There are so many people training for Tough Mudder- we should form our own group...have mini challenges along the way!
  • Congrats!!! I am training for the TM Calgary 2013. What an accomplishment!! When you say the hill training you did did not help you...what would you do different if you ran again next year? Again, congrats!
  • I use a bit of tofu, and lots of veggies- beets, carrots, mushrooms, onions and garlic.
  • I also agree with Chia Seeds ...and hemp hearts. Both are excellent and hemp hearts will give you good amounts of the GOOD fats you need.
  • I like both sun warrior and vega. They are really good....the vega one is the recovery one. The Vega One is too greeny for me
  • Definitely a geek here- gamer (including d&d when I was younger), sci-fi, needing to know absolutely useless things ( unless playing trivial pursuit), Star Trek...the list goes on and on
  • J Edgar Hoover
  • Hi everyone! I am a new vegan- as of Jan 1, 2012 but have been a vegetarian for much longer. I am a clear example that a vegetarian diet can still produce obesity. Cheese, dairy were my favourite fall backs. However, after watching and reading about nutrition and becoming aware of the fall backs of modern day farming- I…
  • Welcome- I too am new, just started today. I think that with support, friends and being gentle with ourselves that we can be successful. Being gentle with ourselves means recognizing that what we did yesterday doesn't matter- what we do right now, in this moment is what matters. Also, forgiving ourselves- for me this is…
