Since I relaxed my diet mid way through Dec I have gained 1kg which isn't going to bother me. I have been ill over christmas and have only been eating 2 meals a day.

I started over again on here in August and I have lost 16lbs. The first time I joined up I wasn't in the right frame of mind, but now im on a roll. Well done on your weight loss!!

As a treat I have a subway melt on wheat, as for the UK i think its the healthier option. I have no sauce just lettice cucumber and sweetcorn. Its only just under 400 calories for a 6 inch and it keeps me really full up so I don't snack, and for excercise I walk from my work into town which is 20 mins each way.

I walk 30 minutes a day everyday, even if its in my lunch break, just get up and move. I go to the gym on saturday mornings and do stationary bike vigorous effort 30 mins and treadmil 3,7 speed and incline 7 for 30 mins. I do dumbells twice a week.

Get a tortilla wrap, spread with tomato puree, top with pineapple, light cheese, mushrooms and ham, all the delicious things but on a healthier base, cook for 20 mins on 180c

Mind set. Positive attitude towards what you want to achieve. Cutting down on chocolate was my biggest goal, its worked, I don't feel the need to even eat chocolate! Watching portion sizes and planning ahead, for example choose what you are having for evening meal, watch the calories and taylor your day to that. Also going…

Do basic yoga, other excercise makes you feel awful and you won't recover that quickly. O nly continue to do usual work outs when you are 100% better.

Thanks for the advice, I have one jaffa cake each morning as its the only thing I can swallow all my tablets with!! I can easily cut the potatoes so wil start with that. Thanks again :)

Really needed to read that, I had a bad saturday night lots of food and alcohol but i feel great after reading that, its just all about back to being focussed!

My weakness was chocolate. I used to eat about 4 or 5 bars a day which racked up about 1300 calories alone, then I used to snack on mini cheddars and crisps and then eat a large stodgy meal each evening, I must have been over 3000!!

I wondered how on earth I would manage staying off all the junk but after about 3 weeks the urge to eat it stopped. I used to eat becasue I was bored and just ate chocolate and crisps becasue they were there. I now don't feel it necessary to eat them even though i look in the cuboard and its there.
