Welcome to the site! I've lost 13.5lbs since joining in September (18lbs since my diet started in June). Good luck to you.0

Started in February '12. About 57 lbs gone! May I suggest you look through the Success Stories section. You will find lots of posts there that should give you a better idea of what to expect. Plus, there are lots of pictures so you can see differences, too.0

Thanks and congrats on your success thus far :-)0

I joined at the beginning of the year I was 159lbs and stayed on track for three months and lost about 20lbs. When my husband and I moved over seas, I gained almost all of it back (151). Now that we are in our new home and I have all my weights and treadmill, I am down to 136lbs and continuing to see changes.0

Lost 44lb in 6 months. I've been on here before that but put on loads because of medication.0

I've lost about 50 lbs since April 17, 2012 (7 months)0

I started in Dec. 2010.
I lost 39 lbs. by July 2011. I was on a 'diet'.
I got stuck and stopped planning and tracking in October.
I gained back 18 lbs. between the beginning of Oct. 2011- the end of Apr. 2012
Lost what I had gained by the beginning of Aug. 2012 and then lost another 19 lbs. from Aug. 2012-present (so from Apr.-present I lost a total of 37 lbs.)
I finally realized that I am not on a diet, I am changing my life. I don't plan to go back to ever eating and bingeing like I was before.
So in all, I am down 58 lbs. in just under 2 years.
47 lbs. to go.
Could I have lost more? Sure. But I had to learn some things along the way, so it took some time.0 -
I started in February, 2012 and since then have lost 27 pounds.
I began lifting in June and have began to recompose my body. I think that it looks like I've lost more than 27 because of lifting0 -
Started at the end of April. I've lost 42 pounds. I lose weight a little slower than most people because I have insulin resistance.0

I started on February 10, 2011. Long and slow, but scale went down every single month. Never gained a gram0

17 lbs in 2 months!0

I joined on the 5th of September and so far I've lost 36 pounds.0

30 lbs since late June. My goal is set for 2 lbs per week but I'm averaging 1.2 per week which is perfect for me. Time passes and efforts accumulate like pennies in a piggy bank. Don't lose patience. Hard and consistent work always pays.0

I've lost 32 lbs. As for how long it depends on when you count. Technically I've been on the site for just under 2 years. But after losing the first 20 lbs I took a long break and ate at maintenance. I got married, went on my honeymoon, moved to a new city, and maintained my loss all that time. I came back for a short period to lose 5 more pounds and then we were moving again. When we're moving (we're Navy) it's easier to just do maintenance, so I did maintenance again until I got settled here. Then my husband and I started thinking about getting pregnant and I wanted to be at the low end of my healthy weight range so I started eating at a deficit again about 6 weeks ago. Since then I've lost 6 or 7 pounds. I think taking breaks from restricting can be helpful both physically and emotionally.0
