This is me! Fortunately I still didn't suffer too badly from PMS, cramps etc.. too badly but apparently I wasn't absorbing it either. The ring seems to be taking care of that. Glad to hear it hasn't really caused weight gain (or loss). As long as I am still accountable for my actions, that's what matters!

Great to hear! So far I haven't had any side effects so that was my last concern. I don't want to go ahead and blame any issues I have losing weight on the NuvaRing so it's nice to know it is still in my control so to speak :)

NO NO NO..... please go on http://iifym.com/iifym-calculator/ enter you information and find out your TDEE and BMR. BMR is basically the minimum cals you should eat, TDEE is your maintenance cals. Subtract about 15%-20% off your TDEE to give you your defeicit calorie range. I can guarantee it will be higher than 1200 cals.

Start doing weights as well, this helps strengthen the muscles and pull everything in so to speak. As long as your diet is on point as you start to lift weights everything else should firm up and fall into place.

1500 is fine but the important thing about IIFYM is making a strong attempt to hit your macros, try to get that protein up! As long as you are exercising and hitting your macro targets the weight will come off. :)

Hey, Welcome to add me. I currently have my cals set to my TDEE and try to ensure I eat below that each day (usually by 300-500, some days are a little higher if I do cardio also) so I can visually see my defecit. I am currently following IIFYM loosely and share my diary with my friends.

Sometimes I cook just 2 or 3 days worth and intersperse them with buying something or the leftovers from the night before. The other great meal idea I have is homemade pita bread pizzas, everyone likes cold pizza right! I don't normally take these for lunch, usually leave a few slices in the fridge as a snack.

The other users pizza example was excellent, but for the simpler issues you are having; If you want to eat 1.5 ounces and the option is listed as an ounce just say you are having 1.5 servings. If the option is 10 ounces and you want 5 ounces just saying you are having 0.5 of a serving.

This is a tough one as everyone is different. Your best bet is to log it under Cardiovascular activity - Circuit Training. I would also invest in a heart rate monitor if this is something you are going to be doing regularly, that way you can get a more accurate view of your cals.
