Back injuries can take awhile to heal. I would suggest taking an anti inflammatory med like ibuprofen and alternate heat & ice. The ice decreases swelling & the heat relaxes the muscles. It can take 6-8 weeks for a strained back muscle to feel better. Take it easy for a bit and feel better.

I wouldnt worry about it. MFP sets protein low. Barring any medical issues 1g per lb of lbm is fine.

The half is feb 17th. Woke up this morning feeling great. Plugged my headphones in & just started running. Everything just fit together because before I knew it I had run for 65 minutes & approx 6.5 miles. I so got this. Even if I walk some of it.

Fluid is fluid. If your concerned about dehydration base it off of the color of your urine. Fluid is in just about everything we consume. I wouldnt stress about it.

This. Also loose skin is paper thin and wrinkly. It sticks together when pinched. If that is not your problem then its excess bf. If it is loose skin can take 6 months to 1 year to tighten up depending on age, how much weight you lost and how long you were overweight for.

Low albumin levels can cause this look. Without sufficient albumin fluid leaks out of the vasculature system into subcutaneous tissues.

3k mg of Na+ in a healthy adult is fine medically. If someone has hypertension, heart disease or kidney issues it will be lower depending on the condition.

I forgot all about this log. I am now training for a half marathon. I can't believe it. Printed out Hal Higdons training pprogram. I'm so nervous. I have some great people I work with encouraging me. Today I ran 2 miles in 15 minutes. That's 7.5 min/mile. My fastest yet. Then endurance lifting.

Carbs are not the devil. In order to lose weight one just has to eat at a calorie deficit. Most of my calories lately come from carbs & fats because of protein restrictions.

He didn't gain 2 lbs of muscle in a week. If he did he is a wizard. It is more likely water retention & glycogen storage. The scale is but one tool. Keep working out & eat at a moderate deficit.

I must be that sabatager. I love food. I love to bake. I enjoy spending time with friends. I love going out. I am responsible for what I put in my mouth. The people I go out with are responsible for what they put in theirs. I make it fit period.

QFT...Potassium supplements are extremely dangerous without a doctor following blood potassium levels. Your probably getting more than you think. If your concerned have your doctor run some routine blood work.

You will get there. I'm sure the body you have now is better than before. Give yourself a break. You have done a fabulous job so far.

Endomondo is pretty close with my running & hiking. Its off on my mountain trail runs. As far as hydration as long as your urine is a very light yellow you are fine. You don't want it colorless or dark.

Say what. So much wrong information. Meal timing is irrelevant. His metabolism isn't broken after 2 weeks. 1500mg sodium restriction is given to kidney patients.

Patience is the key. Most confuse subcutaneous fat with loose skin. Loose skin is paper thin and sticks together. It can take 1-2 yrs for that to tighten. Most don't need surgery. Just keep doing what your doing. Like mentioned above you have your age going for you.

Congrats on weight loss. What your describing is a panniculus. As you continue to lose fat it will go away.
