Looks delicious!! We've been using portabello mushrooms caps as pizza crust substitute (1 cap = 1 personal pizza) and it's delish and low carb.

Candies It's hard to find in stores, but it smells sooo good and drives the hubby wild!

Love the elliptical! After strength training, I do 45 minutes at resistance level 6 and cross ramp 7. I'm a sweaty mess and my avg heart rate is usually high 140's, but I always seem to have a "runner's high" after I finish and feel sooo good

I'm hypo and currently taking 75mcg levothyroxine. My current MFP calorie goal is 1850 (I've met with a dietician and she recommended a similar #). My activity level is set to sedentary, but I work out 4x per week. I've been steadily losing just over a pound per week. Cutting back on "bad carbs" and eating more protein,…

it can be selected under the cardio section (search weight lifting/strength traning) and will show a # of calories burned..how accurate that is, Idk.

I'm eating right around my BMR calories. My current BMR (per MFP) is 1855 and my daily cal goal is 1850. I've met with a nutritionist and she recommended similar numbers. I'm working out 4x per week and am steadily losing. I know as I lose weight I'll need to decrease my calories as my BMR decreases. It's working for…

many offer free trials, so if you're really considering it, stop in and ask if you could go for a couple weeks to decid if it's for you before commiting

I went to one a few years ago. Most of the women who attended were older women (elderly, to be blunt). It seemed like more of a social environment for them than it was a fitness center. I never felt like I got a worthy workout, because you only do each station for 30 seconds. They had various strength traning machines (leg…

One of my friends turned me onto these (and frozen canteloupe! YUM!) they are sooo good! edit: I pick mine off the stems, wash, and dry them first.

It depends how big the breasts are. Usually I use 2-3 average size ones for recipes like that...we like our stuff meaty lol Check the label on your package of chicken and divide the total weight by the # of breasts per package...that may give you a rough idea.

It comes with a fruit cup, so that'll give you a little sweetness. If you really wanted a pancake or something, just order one silverdollar pancake and savor that. That way, you get what you want and it wont ruin you on carbs! I'm so jealous....I love IHOP but there isn't one within two hours of me (probably for the better…

They have a "healthful" menu section...the spinach & mushroom omelette is DELISH :) edit: if you have time before you go, check out their website for full nutrition info. On the menu, they have the nutritional facts listed for the more healthful selections. Enjoy it!

Try making as much as you can from scratch, that way you can control it...there are some really good recipes out there. Lots of lean protein, fruits and veggies of course is always good. I know it's tough (and expensive)--I was an "honorary celiac" for a while when my sis-in-law was undergoing tests for it. Hang in there!…

Good job! I understand completely how hard that is!!! This was a NSV for me this week, too, as there were donuts at work not once, but twice, and I managed to walk by without grabbing one. I was so proud of myself! :)

I get Facebook updates from ETNT. I really like the tips and suggestions..very good info!

Cant go wrong with some good ol' fashioned Richard Simmons! My mom loved working out to his videos.

maybe you need some extra magnesium and/or potassium

I had this problem (very badly) until I started changing my eating habits. Contrary to the comments about low-carb diets leading to it, since I've started eating more protein/fruits/veggies and fewer carbs, my mouth has improved tremendously! Gum and mints can help, but they generally just mask it and sometimes the…

I have monthly weigh-ins at the gym, and I've been trying really hard to not step on my scale in between those (or at doctor appts), but not doing so well at it. I'll weigh-in with my trainer tomorrow night, then hope to stay off it for the next month.

Bump...I love dried fruit but avoid buying it because of all the added sugars. Would love more details on this!

I strive to log everything, every day. It helps if I log it as soon as I eat it, or at least write it down if I'm not near my computer (I dont have a smart phone  ) It definitely helps to spot trends and areas where I need to improve. Edit: I log everything I eat...I need to work on logging what I drink, even though…
