apple sauce, vanilla extract, frozen berries (frozen wild blueberries from trader joe's turn your oatmeal purple) those are just the most interesting things i've used in my oatmeal but usually it's half a banana, whatever berries we have, and walnuts :')

the necessary deficit thing does make sense, but i kept track of my calories for a couple of months and i had that deficit. as far as time goes, i've been eating like this (as outlined in my first post) for two years.

i would use the gym 100% for as much as you have to, and then do insanity after. you can have a lot of success with the gym and then use insanity to propel yourself when the gym is over. i think committing fully to one thing is better than juggling both
