Eating well is 80% of your weight loss journey. Exercise is 20%. You can exercise daily and eat crap and gain weight. They go hand in hand, but I do know people who have lost significant amounts of weight without exercising at all. I am not one of them. I enjoy moving and toning up my body. I have a long way to go and…

My PT has given me exercises to do on my own at home or in the gym. He monitors my caloric intake AND my body composition. I see him twice a week. I'm not paying an astronomical amount either. IMO, a good trainer who wants you to success and invest in your health is worth looking for. The ones that don't do that are a dime…

PROTIEN PROTIEN PROTIEN!

I don't go looking for added salt, but I haven't stopped eating chips, crackers, etc. The only effect it has on me is water retention.
-
I think it does matter what you eat. If you eat a lot of processed foods, the amount of sodium and preservatives in them can cause you to retain a lot of water. So, IMO, it does matter WHAT you eat. Do I eat a completely clean diet? No. I still have what I want, just less of it as time has gone on.

I quit using fat free and low fat stuff for the most part simply because it's filled with chemicals. Personally, I don't want to put that in my body.
-
are you eating enough for your activity level? Cutting out processed foods and drinking enough water?
-
I love their nuggets.... that's all I got. :-)

Honestly, no one is looking at you. Most people at the gym are there doing their own thing. Just put your music on and go for it. You will do great!

I had success on the older program, but the new one didn't do it for me. I find this easier than counting points. Plus I'm not eating a lot of processed crap.

I don't break mine down by meals. I do have a guideline. 400-450 breakfast, lunch and dinner, 200 snacks (2) per day.

in order to lose a pound you need to shred 3500 calories off your diet. To do that in a week, cut back 500 calories a day of what you are eating. Don't eat crappy food. Eating within your calories of crappy food will not help you lose weight either. Indulging at times is ok, but not every day, every meal. Been there done…

unless your fry them every day in oil, no. They are good for you.

My son is getting a stuffed animal and a card. My husband and I are going to a friends for a WW meal. That's pretty much it. Just another day.

Depends on how you make them. If you are expecting them to taste like beef, then you will be disappointed. I make Mexican Turkey Burgers and they are awesome. Try the recipe. Mexican Turkey Burgers ½ cup salsa ¼ cup reduced fat cheese, shredded 3 tsp chili powder 1 tsp dried oregano 1 tsp dried cumin ¾ tsp sugar 1 tsp…

Soup is good. Baked chips. pretzels?

Drinking warm beverages do help control your appetite, but as far as the "skinny" or "diet" teas go, they are just herbal laxatives.

use the real stuff!

The Big Mac has 550 calories. I don't eat them often, but it's a good alternative if you like them. Good job.
-
I drink protein shakes, but not as a meal. I use them as snacks or before/after a workout. I get the Body Fortress Whey. The vanilla and strawberry are very good.
-
Protein is never anything I have problems hitting. What are you eating in a day?
-
it's nothing to worry about UNLESS you are going over it everday.
-
I fit them into my daily calories. Carrots with guacamole, celery, banana with almond butter. Things like that are great for getting you through it. Or paint your nails. Can't eat when your nails are wet.
-
Just eat a balanced diet and your body naturally cleanses itself. You don't need to force it to do that.
-
I get a salad with a scoop of steak, black beans, grilled veggies, corn salsa and cheese and it's 520 calories.

<--- Zumba instructor. I usually burn around 800 per hour. Glad to see you all enjoy it so much!
-
5 a day sounds about right. All you do is drink your food. No real food.
-
Don't do it. Use the juice as an added bonus to your fruit/veggie intake.

What Ana said. If you drink it too fast you feel bloated, but from what my trainer tells me, this is normal if you haven't been drinking a lot of water before. Your body will get used to it.
