I have been trying to drink at least two litres of water a day but I am feeling more bloated. I am a big coffee/tea drinker and used to drink maybe one cup of water a day if I felt a little thirsty. is this normal to feel bloated and how long does it take to pass?

It doesn't sound normal to me, but then 2 liters of water isn't a very high intake. What is your total intake from beverages? Coffee and tea can count as water intake.
If you are bloating from a food intollerance or too much sodium, changing your diet might have more impact than drinking more water. Indentifying and eliminating whatever is causing you to bloat, or upping your potassium intake to offset high sodium.0 -
You might be drinking it too quickly. Space it out more.0

What Ana said. If you drink it too fast you feel bloated, but from what my trainer tells me, this is normal if you haven't been drinking a lot of water before. Your body will get used to it.0
