I constantly struggle with about 10 pounds. I am 5'7 and at about 146 right now. Would love to get back to 140 or so. I think when you are not overweight, it is tough to lose. Right now, my BMI is 22.9. You are not considered overweight until it is over 25. (If you put stock into the BMI calculations!)

Absolutely! In my book, you can count anything that gets your heart rate up! That is why I love having my HRM. I monitor my heart rate while exercising and try to keep it between 140-150.

I have noticed that the older I get, the less I enjoy sweets. I could honestly go the rest of my life without chocolate and be just fine. (People think I am crazy for saying so!) I still love the salty snacks though! :smile:

This definitely depends on how you are shaped. I am 5'7 and weigh 142. I wear size 10 jeans! (Most of my dress pants are size 8.) I hear girls at work that are my height and weight talk about wearing size 4 or 6! How is that possible?

I always wonder about this myself. I drink at least one diet coke a day. (Most days I have two!) What is so bad about it? is it the aspartame?

I think cheat days help you stay on track long term. You can't restrict yourself indefinitely. The key is not to have too many cheat days! Just get back on track tomorrow and don't beat yourself up. You can do it!

I love wine too! I go over my calories every weekend because of it!!! I switch to Captain Morgan and diet coke some weekends....only 60 calories a drink!

I do the same thing! I cheat with wine or beer though....and then food the next day! I am still losing, but it is coming off slowly. I was at the same weight for several weeks. Luckily, I am down 2 lbs with my weigh in this morning. The 2 lb loss is actually motivation for me to stick to the healthy eating plan this…
