Ugh knee surgery is the worst. I have had four in the last 9 years and it definitely does put a damper on the exercise portion, but just make sure you nutrition is being heavily focused on while you are healing!

If you have concerns about other people's opinion about you and your protein check out the documentary titled Food Choices on Netflix. It is eye opening and really will make you understand where to find protein and how much we really need. It's a great watch!

TiffanyLoveG if you have Netflix I recommend you watch 'Food Choices' It talks specifically about protein, once you watch this everyone's opinions won't matter about your protein intake. Unfortunately people are very misinformed about protein and the human body.

Have you tried making veggie noodles? Great substitute, you can make your own spiral spaghetti noodles from different type of veggies. I really like them from zucchini and yellow squash!

I found that used to be a struggle for me as well. What I have found works for me, as I am getting better with meal prepping on Sunday night for the week, I ABSOLUTELY make sure that I meal prep before the grand entrance made by Aunt Flow. Even if I don't prep for the week I make sure those lovely 4 days are always prepped…
