Sadly, No loss for me this month. Stayed the same. But since I fractured my foot and haven't been able to exercise much, I guess that's to be expected.

Whitney, I'm so sorry for your loss. It sounds like you and your brother were very close. Be kind to yourself. Be with your family. I personally have not experienced the type of loss you are, but please know that you and your family are in my prayers.

We all have those moments. It's annoying, I know. Don't let it get you down. You logged it, now move on to a new day. This is advice for myself too. :-)

So....I ran a 5k on june 5. Ran the whole way, no stopping. Yay! Felt great except I noticed afterwards that my foot was a little swollen and bruised but just thought it would go away. Fast forward to yesterday-went to the doctor because I was still in pain. Turns out I have a fracture and need to wear a boot for 3 weeks.…

Thank you all so much. I really don't know what else to say. I wish, wish, wish I had "magic" words to help heal some of the pain. I'm so thankful that we have a "safe" place in MFP to have a voice without fear or judgment. What I'm learning just by reading your posts is that this is a vicious cycle. Being overweight can…

Thanks for the input. I'm so sorry that these children have gone through these experiences. Wow.

Love yourself. Start with small changes. Being on MFP is a good place. It's one day at a time and each day gets a bit better. Find some girlfriends to talk to. Take a walk. Pray. Do it for yourself, no one else. You'll get yourself back. I'll be praying for you too.
