Everybody is different. I find if I eat all the calories from my exercise burned calories, I maintain. Change your calories every couple of days. Are you entering your exercise? You are suppose to eat your 1200 + your calories burned in exersise. If you are doing that, you should not be hungry. I gave up my diet coke a long time ago. The sodium in pop will keep you from loosing weight. Also my orthopedic surgeon said the phoshoric acid in dark pops remove calcium from the bones. So when you are missing your coke, think of the good things, weight loss and healthy bones.

I was eating a banana a day as it was an easy breakfast to eat on the road and my husband was pushing it as he needs one for his high blood pressure. I think a little chocolate or there candy each day keeps the cravings away. I like Hershy's kisses or Milk Duds. Just suck 2 or 3 of them and make them last as long as you can......yummm.

Very important! If you diet without exercise you will loose muscle mass and that is not a good thing in the long run. When we exercise we sometimes do gain some because we are gaining muscle mass. Muscle mass burns more calories than fat. In the long run you will be better off if you exercise.

My new love for veggies includes raw zuchini or yellow summer squash chopped up and put in my salad along with cucumbers and tomatos! I love avacodos cut in half with salt and peper on it . The best guacamole is a mushed up avacado and add your favorite salsa!

I am finding there is a difference in carbs for me. If I eat a lot of fruit which has carbs, I can loose weight. If I eat carbs that are from eating bread, rice, pasta etc then I gain back fast.

My treadmill tells me how fast I am walking, the distance and how many calories I burn. Then I just chose walking in the database here and tried to match up the calories. Most days now I walk 3.0 mph for 30 minutes and it burns 163 calories.
