No...but thanks for your concern! It's not really a diet. It's a book on how to work the food plan you are using while using cognitive therapy approaches. If anyone has truly read the book they will know what I"m talking about.

I do the best when I plan ahead what I am going to eat at each meal, snacks included into that plan.

Either have a salad before any main course meal or make a big salad as your meal, if possible.

I would chose something like a fruit, veggie, milk or yogurt when I get like that.

I agree on the measurement part. I wasn't having big losses (for me, I consider 2 lbs or more a big loss) but I have lost 8 inches all over since Jan 19th (as of this past Thursday, 3/8) .

I like this site for that reason. I haven't come across that yet on here (granted I have been away from here for a LONG time) but when I was on here regularly, I really liked it.

Eat fruit/veggies, protein, dairy, water, limit "junk" snacks and it will come off. I am not sure about 5 lbs a week but it will come off. Are you changing up your workout routine?

Maybe just have him hold 3 bags of sugar? Not that you have to PROVE it to him but I think you are looking for validation for yourself of what you have accomplished! Way to go! 15 lbs is awesome!

LOL..I have told her before that she's passive/aggressive! She had thanked me for pointing it out as it made her realize "stuff" about herself. That was before the nasty comments though so I guess she didn't realize enough! ;)

I feel like I make way too many excuses on weekends b/c I don't fit activity in. If I can fit it in during the week (when I'm more busy), then I can do it during the weekends! Sometimes it's plain laziness and I hate admitting that! Sometimes, I am my own worse enemy! UGH!

I agree (confidence booster). I did my 1st 5K in October 2010 and wanted to do it WITHIN 40 minutes (what I had been averaging when practicing at the gym). I finished in 36:24. This coming October, I'm striving to beat that time.

Just try to remember that tomorrow is a whole NEW day. Start it off like you would have any other day (without the picnic) and go from there! Plan ahead what you are going to eat and stick to it. I have had the Mirena for 4 yrs and have not found it aids in my weight gain. My lack of tracking and not exercising enough are the reason. I was able to lose weight fine w/ it inserted.
