  • Send me a FR. i'm looking to lose 35-40 right now. I am also a personal trainer and a weight loss coach. I would love to connect!
  • I'm a certified personal trainer and weight loss coach, and i have never heard of such crazy suggestions. Losing weight and becoming healthy is very different for each person. You need someone that will work with you, not lecture you or make a program for you. It needs to be done together so you can follow through with it…
  • I had a polar and lost 40 lb with it. Git a fitbit and gained 30 back bx i eat my calories and it said i burned like 2800 cals a day. Now i have a microsoft band and im losing the gained weight, bc with hiit and weight 4-5 days a week, power walking for 2 miles a day and doing tons of stairs, still only burning 2200…
  • Im having the same issue now, has there been an update?
  • i'm two sizes smaller than i thought. not bad.
  • Do you walk 30 minutes a day? if so, thats cardio. you can lose weight by resistance training and doing weights, yes. in fact, its better for weightloss because it gives you definition and you burn more calories. I definitely don't suggest eating under 1400 calories a day though.
  • thanks for posting! i have 6w6p and was thinking of trying it out this week.
  • chocolate is bad for you... truth is, avoiding chocolate is bad for you! lol I eat chocolate several times a day and still loose weight!
  • i didn't' eat any extra calories at all and still gained 27 lb... i walked A LOT. like miles and miles, over 3 miles a day. i ate a wholesome balanced diet and drank tons of water. I ate 1500 cals my first trimester, 1750 my second and 1900 my third... i did eat extra cals my first pregnancy and i gained 75 lbs.... the…
  • I think that when you get to a certain point, like when you like to eat healthy 85% of the time and sometimes eat unhealthy without even guilt (and you are about 10 lb away from goal), you can definitely stop counting calories. The reason I count calories is bc I am so busy with my kids, that I wouldn't even notice half…
  • i'm doing ripped in 30 now and i'm doing 4-5 days a week plus 1-2 miles of walking a day. My 2 rest days are usually real rest days, when I try my hardest to stay in my pjs all day (rarely a success with 2 kids). I think you can get away with 4 days a week though as long as you are doing another workout one to two days a…
  • i would freak out on those ignorant people. my son is 42 inches and 43 lb in the 90th percentile. and thats when he was weighed the week he had a stomach bug, so probably normally 44 lb. he's rock freakin' solid. the kid is pure muscle. there are more things to consider in healthy weight than just body weight. i would have…
  • i have 2 kids, but before that i would say about $85/week including fresh meat & fish every week would be a good amount. I recently discovered Trader Joes and found that if I buy most non- kid items there I would be saving about $40 a week. I think the best thing to do is keep your receipts and shop at different stores…
  • i drink 3.5 liters a day usually. if i drink less than 3 liters, i usually wake up feeling bloated and dehydrated. if i don't workout i usually drink about 2.5/3 liters. I try to have one glass of water for every hour awake.
  • How much do u exercise? Also, u eat too many carbs, sugars and sodium and not enough protein. Try changing your macros to 40% carb, 30% protein & 30% fat and 2000 mg/day of sodium. Try also estibg 35 grams of fiber a day. This will help you loose weight and keep on track. Also, if you do a half hour of walking every day…
  • keep track and plan meals in advance to see how they fit into your daily macros. thats the only way to be sure... also drink 10+ glasses of water a day even on days you let loose. if you are working our, drink 12-14 glasses a day and limit to 2000 mg/sodium a day.
  • also, most of your carbs should be high fiber carbs so that it helps flush things out of your system. white bread will help you retain water. so will rice.
  • its water weight. u are loosing water weight and then when u let loose u r eating high carbs and high sodium probably so then the weight comes right back. u need to be consistant for a month or two to see real progress.
  • gorgeous dress and it is perfect on you!
  • i'm aware that i eat for pleasure and i don't mind. i also stress eat and anger eat and pms eat. lol... i keep a lot of portioned snacks at hand like vitatops and skinny cow treats so i can eat and not be afraid of eating an entire tub of ice cream on a binge. also, the other realization that helps me stay motivated is…
  • ok, so i don't work on my abs almost ever. i hate lying on the floor. i do work my legs and hips and arms and chest and i can definitely say that you can spot reduce areas by working those muscles and watching your diet. try jillian michaels 6 week 6 pack or the 30 day shred. You will definitely see a difference!
  • i order 100 cal packs in bulk from amazon.
  • my 2nd son is 5 1/2 months old. I have a diet plan that i got from a registered dietician 3 months ago and i stick to it night and day even though i don't stopped seeing her over a month ago. I work out usually when my baby is awake now and my 3 year old is sleeping. I pop the baby into his swing or jumperoo and put on…
  • I actually believe that the reason we are fat is because we don't have enough physical activity. most people live in the suburbs and drive their kids to school and then drive to work and then drive their kids home and then drive to the store and then drive to the gym. we wouldn't need the gym if we walked to work or walked…
  • i eat plain greek yogurt with 1/2 a container of blueberries, some agave nectar and 1/4 cup fiber one cereal. another idea is to make a protein smoothie the night before and drink it in the morning. i do that with designer whey vanilla powder, fresh strawberries and 3/4 cup of skim milk. i usually also have 1/2 cup of…
  • i am 4 inches shorter than my husband and 20 lb more and i can walk up a steep hill in less time and carry our 41 lb 3 year old. I also eat healthier, exercise daily and he doesn't. He thinks that because he's is thin (33 inch waist) he is automatically fit. its a load of crap! lol
  • great workout and really helps tighten and tone. Its best to do on carpet bc its a lot of jumping. i lost tons of inches doing this workout!
  • i would assume, depending on intensity that you are burning between 5 and 10 calories per minute. when i walk i burn 6-7 cals per minute, when i do jillian michaels dvds its between 8-10 cals per minute. also, most ppl say its about 100 calories per mile, if that helps.
  • why don't you just make your own chicken soup???
