I am very short....so for me 5-10 pounds is one pants size

No...just no. Count your calories, eat nutrients dense food.

First weeks are great for weight loss. If it is still rapid after a few weeks I recommend seeing a dr. I remember a few years ago someone posting the same thing and everyone said not to worry about it then the person came back and told us she almost died. So now I am careful about what I say ;)

I gain 3-4 pounds from my ovulation to the middle of my period. Annoying but fact of life. It is not fat so don't worry about it
-
I have to say that I am only 4'11''....so 5 pounds for me equal uncomfortable pants lol
-
30 second of walk....my box is just across the street from my work
-
I gave birth to 6 kids and at 4'11" tall I have been at 165 lbs (not preggo) at my biggest. I do not have great skin and it never really came back but I can tuck it in my pants. Loose skin is a lot easier to hide than fat. Once it is not weighted down by the fat it will lift up to a point where your genetic start kicking…

I only weight myself once. One week after the start of my period....anything else is meaningless in my case because I have wild variations
-
Maybe try 3:4?

I am at 4 years maintenance and rarely log my food anymore. I am back right now because I gained 4-5 pounds after being off work and the holidays. For me, the secret is eat good food, do exercise that you like and only have one size pants ( none streachy pants!!!).....when those get a bit snug.....time to look at what I am…

this is my.....5 years, 2 months and 8 days doing this. Let me tell you that in the long term, short term up and down are nothing.....you are doing this for the rest of your life......I weight myself from time to time. Always one week after my period. Sometime you have to trust the process. Maybe the scale is not the best…
-
Easier in fact. I have a lot more lean muscle mass than I ever did in my life.

The number of meal is not as important as the total calories. You pretty much have to try and see what work for you. Maybe you are ravenous in the morning so you eat more. It is very individual. I tried eating 5-6 meals a day and found that it piss me off more than anything else lol. I like to have a big meal :) Good luck

I am a long term success for MFP (5 years and counting) and almost never step on the scale. I go by tape measure and by what I see in the mirror
-
I do crossfit...it does not have any impact on my workout
-
Still being the voice of reason on MFP I see. Listen to her, she know that she is talking about

took me 1 years to lose 20 pounds but I completly transformed my body. a bit frustrating I must admit but I didn't gained it back and I am 5 years in maintenant

Learned helplessness.....let me tell you a story Let me tell you a story. A long time ago, a baby elephant was born in captivity. While he was very little, his handlers used a chain to tie his leg to the ground. The little elephant pulled and pulled trying to get free but it never worked. Now that the elephant is full…

I am 115 pounds, dealift 175 pounds and squat 145 pounds........even with those stats I am a weakling compared to other women. Just do your best and try to push yourself.

I do not see what metabolism and pooping has to do together. For pooping I say eat more fibers and drink more water. To boost metabolism, add muscle mass
-
It can take up to two years for skin to catch up with weight loss....after that the only thing is surgery
-
I think he did it to "cure" his cancer no? This is why I hate woo....it make intelligent but desesparate people do stupid things
-
Good luck. I use 5:2 when I want to lose weight and I love it
-
Keep it simple.....calories in < calories out
-
Welcome. Buy the book, the new rules of lifting for women.....it has great program that will help you. It is the best 15$ I even spent
-
you should measure yourself and take pictures, the scale is just one tool to see progress. When I was losing weight, I always had a sticking point then would lose 3-5 pounds. If really the measurements don't change for a few more weeks, time to lower your calories intake.

Between 3-5 hours

1) Do you do any traditional cardio? (By this I mean something other than “lift weights quickly.”) Nope.....I used to walk 4-6km a day and that was my cardio. now I do Crossfit 2) If you do not do cardio, why not? I don't like it 3) If you do cardio, why do you do it and do you like it or just tolerate it? Still don't like…

I go to the gym at my lunch break.....it is the only time I have
