  • Brilliant post, well done everyone, the pics look absolutely amazing! :o) I'm 5ft9 and currently 162lbs, my original goal weight was 165lbs but I have reset it to 154lbs, I started at 257lbs so I'm pretty proud of the achievement :o) I'm medium built and a size 10 (UK) so at the moment despite wanting to lose a few more…
  • Hi all, been MIA for the past two days as I've flown out to see my OH so haven't had a chance to update my daily goals. My Friday goals were as follows 1. Staying within my net calories, I'm off on holiday tomorrow and airports tend to mean snacking to me, so I'm armed with fruit and graze boxes (tick) 2. Zumba at home…
  • Good evening all, my goals for today were 1. Drink minimum of 2.5l water which is the amount I feel best with - DONE 2. Go for a run which I haven't been for a good week now - NOT DONE 3. Pick up 3 parcels from the post office (have to get my bum in gear as the sorting office is 15miles from here) - DONE 2/3, could be…
  • Hi all, Been away for a few days with work and managed to stay within my net calories despite hotel breakfast and hotel dinners for two days, well chuffed with myself :o) Even managed to do a high intensity Zumba session in my room which burned 450 cals! ***Do you eat back your exercise calories? Yes, definitely on…
  • Good evening all (well here it is anyway :o) I've done okay with my 3 goals for today, I drank more water than yesterday so I've achieved my goal but it still wasn't good enough and I was rewarded with a headache (sure tell tale sign that I didn't drink enough), I didn't make it to my step class due to bad traffic but I…
  • Creating new habits, I'm all up for that. Have created a lot over the past two years but could certainly do with some more :o) I made fab choices at dinner tonight even if I do say so myself, and I've done a Zumba session in the hotel followed by push ups and crunches, so I'm well chuffed with myself. Pledges for 2nd…
  • Great post, always loved the idea of taking one day at a time and I'll happily join in if I may :o) I'm new to MFP (4 weeks in) but have recently reached my goal with WW after losing 95lbs and BMI of 24.5 and now I'm officially on maintenance. I've decided to lose another 5-10lbs by double tracking with MFP and see how…
  • I entered my details as well but it is last weeks, I just read back on all the posts in this thread and now realised you're all weighing on Thursdays, I'll update my weight tomorrow for this week to give a truer reflection of my current weight (WW day has always been Saturday), from then on I will update the spreadsheet on…
  • Lol, just to hold the fort for WW, I just reached my goal on it and love the new program, it worked for me but I've met a lot of people who didn't get on with it. I joined MFP in a spur of the moment (mainly due to the brilliant android app after switching to my first smart phone) and it's exceeded my expectations by…
  • Hi all, would it be okay if I joined as well? I've reached my official WW goal recently (top end of healthy BMI) and would like to lose another 7-10lbs to give me a bit of wiggle room and at the moment i could just eat eat and eat some more, lol, Have decided to double track with WW and MFP as MFP has a brilliant android…
  • I love mine, I've been lucky enough to win an auction on Ebay for a high spec Polar and I love everything about it! Started with a cheap one from Tesco though for £20 and it was good enough for quite a while until the strap was too big for me and couldn't be adjusted anymore, hence didn't pick up the HR accurately anymore.…
  • I'm a big eater and most certainly eat them all back, i.e. net I'm roughly on target, sometimes over sometimes a bit under, works for me. It's so easy to get the calories up in a healthy way if you're struggling, try using whole milk, full fat yoghurt, snack on nuts and seeds, use olive oil in salads etc
  • I have this a lot as well, either with a chopped up apple or with stewed apple, always with cinnamon. Give it a try :o)
  • Natural fromage frais, just love it. And probably tomatoes in some shape or form and and egg most days
  • Originally Germany but currently live in Cambridgeshire, UK
  • I'm 5ft 8.5" and I've reached my goal of 162lbs recently, now revised this to 154lbs but no pressure as I'm very happy with what I've achieved
  • Fromage frais and Butternut Squash!
  • 95lbs in total, lost the first 1.5 stone a few years back in 6 months, then 5 stone in the past 23 months
  • Hello, You won't be able to convert pp to calories accurately but there's no harm in doing a bit of double tracking I think, I do both at the moment as MFP has a brilliant app for my android phone whereas WW only do one for the iphone, very handy for on the go.
  • Hello, I do a bit of double tracking at the moment, I've just recently reached goal with WW after losing nearly 7st and after just acquiring an android phone stumbled across myfitnesspal and was really impressed with the app. I've decided to double track for a little while as WW has no app for the android phones and it's…
