I would incorporate at least one rest day a week. You're going to make yourself ill or end up clinically exhausted with that plan. You don't need to run so much.

People treat me with more kindness now, although rude people barge into me more because I'm small. I feel stronger, and I'm so much fitter, but at the same time I am nearly always cold, and when I'm sick I look frail as hell. Honestly though, I didn't start to feel smaller until my brain realised just how much I'd…

FYI, I'm 5"5.5 and 134lbs, and I eat 2000-2200 a day. I was losing weight at 160lbs eating around 1900 a day.

I think you mean TDEE.

Bit geeky here too, similar starting weight. Feel free to add me :)

I second the "sweat it out" thing. I've found exercise to be a really great stress reliever and distraction. While it's hard to make yourself do it sometimes when you're in a bit of a state, you feel a million times better for it.

It's hard to believe you're the same girl as the before photos! You look amazing. well done.

Let me put it this way - I exercise for 3-4 hours a week (half of it weightlifting) and I lose weight at 2000 calories a day doing that. I'm 28 years old and I weigh 133. You gotta fuel. I stalled at around 160 for a bit 'cause I was eating too little. Take measurements too though, that's a better indicator of fat loss.…

Tall glass of water alongside lemon green tea, then a cup of white coffee.

Because a lot of clean eaters are preachy. It's like why people criticise the religious, or vegetarians. A lot of people who undergo a certain big lifestyle shift feel the need to convert others under the label of "educate". I like everyone, so long as they keep their opinions away from my throat.

If you're working out that hard, you're under eating. Eat more. Worked for me. Look up Eat More To Weigh Less group.

I eat real food and am maintaining at 2100-2200 the moment. Lost the last 30 pounds of my weight eating at 1800+

I was losing still at 2000, and 140 lbs. The fact does remain that if your weight isn't dropping, something is amiss. You taking measurements? They're a better indicator. Still, if you're that active and eating that amount you should be dropping lbs. You must not be in deficit enough, but the reasons are unknown. Could be…

I'm not surprised you binged if you've been eating 1000 a day. Even 1500 may be too little depending on your activity level.

Battered anything.

Sounds like you're getting an eating disorder if you haven't got one already. See your GP for help.

So glad I happened across this post. Thanks for the chuckle.

Pancakes made with 70g mashed banana mixed with 2 egg whites, a scoop of unflavoured whey and some flavouring, topped with sauce made with 10g peanut butter, 2 tsp milk, 5g whey and 10ml maple syrup. One of my favourites.

It's worth noting that by BMI standards, a lot of male actors are in the "obese" range. I'm talking leads who obviously dedicate a lot of time and effort into their physiques. I wouldn't put a lot of stock in BMI. It can be a pretty accurate basic measure of healthy weight for about 70% of people, but that leaves 30% it…

No idea. I drink twice the recommended intake for water most days, and I lost weight eating above 1600 the whole time (as far as I am aware). I'm not tall at 5'5.5" either, and I have only been properly physically active for the last three years or so. Now, I'm anywhere from 1900-2300.
-
BMI is a really poor indicator of health and weight in general. Your measurements sound great and it's obvious you're fit and healthy. You are probably one of the more muscular, physically fit people around.
-
I adore food. I spend time trying to find healthier ways of doing things so I can have freedom. I don't always succeed in either freedom or satisfaction, but the balance is pretty good, considering.

Make sure you resistance train. It doesn't have to be heavy, but you need to rep until it's hard to lift, so people suggest lifting heavy so you're not there all day. People say a lot about having youth on your side. It depends what you look like now. As a pre-teen, I had a belly apron already, and was covered in…

I hate most of them. People were constantly raving about them so much I ordered a few in (and they're more expensive in the UK 'cause they're imported) and I only liked two of the seven flavours I tried, and even then I was kinda "meh" about those.

My body is wrecked. I've learned to accept it somewhat, but the fact is I still want to lose fat but it's going from places it doesn't need to and it's making me look out of proportion. Surgery is always an option I guess but I'd rather just have to smush into my clothes.
-
Don't stress. I gained about 8 pounds when I quit, I lost it again a few months later, and then some.

I track both ways. I add up my leftover and overused calories each sunday and log the result in that day's food comments.
