Also, remember that weight is only one indication of your success. I was feeling really discouraged this week, and then I started trying on clothes that used to be too small for me, and they fit perfectly!!! So even if the scale isn't showing it, you might be making good progress. Don't give up. Keep pushing.

Yum!! Sounds delish!

When I had my most successful weight loss, I would have one fun-size candy bar every day after lunch. Since I wasn't completely depriving myself, I didn't overindulge.

That's so awesome! Keep up the great work. And thanks for sharing - it motivates those of us who are struggling. :flowerforyou:

All these little steps can add up to one amazing journey! Keep it up!

What is your goal? If you are eating 1200, you definitely need to eat something more substantial, or your body will go into starvation mode very quickly and you will STOP losing!

I know you have already posted some, but I would love to see your "official" before and after pics!

Sorry to beat a dead horse, but I had to chime in... sounds to me like you are in starvation mode. Eat more to lose more.

The "Chicken Fajita Pita" at Jack in the Box - it's soooo tasty, doesn't feel like diet food at all, and only 280 calories! Great for the waistline, but not the budget

At one point, I was drinking so much water that I actually dehydrated myself. It can be done. And if you are used to drinking a lot of water, then you might need to drink an electrolyte drink when you work out, because your body won't compensate for the hydration you lose. But I was drinking around a gallon a day. I guess…

What a great reminder! I was just thinking about this on my walk... how I feel really good, but I need to remain realistic and realize that someone will always be skinnier, prettier, etc. You have to focus on the inside, or you will never be happy! Thanks for sharing!

Good for you! I hope I can say the same thing in two months!

Thanks for sharing everyone... so inspiring! Can't wait to have some "after" pics to post! So far (less than two weeks!) I am loving the accountability of putting in and tracking my calories and exercise. I feel like this will be a real life change for me!
