I'll be 54 this week .... yes, it's totally possible to lose weight. It's a lifestyle change; not a diet. It all goes hand in hand with eating better and getting more exercise. Make yourself accountable and you will be successful.

Happy to report that the three pounds are off again. I think that it's just a matter of sticking with watching the calories, even if you don't feel up to working out. Just saw this board and need to join. I'm 53 and 5'2" and joined MFP 50 days ago. It helps keep me accountable and I'm more aware of what I'm putting in my mouth!
