  • They keep telling me it gets better but so far, that hasn't been the case... It's been over a month for me and I take very frequent bathroom breaks, lol. And yeah, every step counts, but don't log those, lol.
  • I eat much smaller portions, and I find that the less I pig out the less hungry I feel... I guess you'd call it "Stomach shrink" so it gets used to smaller portions and feels full with less food in it. After about 2 weeks of MFP I was no longer outrageously hungry all of the time.
  • I find that if I eat small portions of low cal food for breakfast and for lunch my appetite stays at bay. It's when I have a huge breakfast that I'm hungry all day. The more I eat the more I want to eat. But if I were to skip a meal I would be exhausted, get a headache, and want to eat a couple of big mac meals. If I know…
  • whatever floats her boat! Hahaha
  • You wouldn't track it. My fitness pal accounts for the calories you would burn just by sitting down all day. What you track are the extra burned calories from walking, working out, etc. You don't log your sedentary calories - it would lead to being allotted more calories and then you'll gain weight.
  • I haven't had any success with a points system and I really don't enjoy meetings with strangers. With mfp I have a select group of people who I don't mind "weighing in" in front of on my friends list, and watching them lose weight motivates me to lose it too.
  • I am doing the 30 day shred right now too, but I was getting terrible shin pain from the jumping jacks, jump rope, butt kicks, knee lifts, etc.. Then on pt. 2 day 2 I got a cramp that felt like I was going to die. So right now I'm taking a break from old Jillian while I recoup...
  • You could lose weight but you would be compromising your health as you certainly can't get the nutrients your body needs to function on 1000 calories/day. So few calories borders on starvation dieting and can be damaging to your body.
