  • I lost over 30 pounds in under a year without exercising by eating fairly paleo. It was first visibly noticeable in my mid section, so I'd say yes, give it a try :) I didn't do before and after measurements, but I lost 2 pants sizes.
  • I've been on MFP since October. I was consistently losing weight until getting back into candy shortly after Easter. Sugar in fruit has not hurt me, but the sugar in candy (my lack of self-control) has the scale moving in the wrong direction :(

  • Even if you don't like mayonnaise, this is yummy and easy! Start with boneless, skinless chicken breasts. Slice them, butterfly style, to decrease thickness.   • 4% fat cottage cheese with a little honey and cinnamon. Lots of cinnamon!! (1/2 c cottage cheese, 1 tsp honey, 1 T cinnamon) Tastes like dessert :)
  • Low iron absorption can lead to leg discomfort. If you also have pink urine after eating beets or foul smelling urine after eating asparagus, you might have low iron absorption. Taking an iron supplement has cured my Restless Leg Syndrome.
  • Brown 3/4 pound ground chuck. Add 1/2 pound browned ground italian sausage (no nitrates/nitrites). Add 1 tsp hot pepper flakes, 1 tsp oregano and enough cheese to hold it all together. (3/4 cup or so). Spread on bread and heat under over broiler til warm. I skipped the bread part and just ate the meat as a main dish :)

  • Have you tried Almond Butter? At first it seemed strange eating the spread without bread, but it is filling on its own. For variety, I sometimes mix in a little honey, jelly or cream cheese.
  • I admire people who are smart enough to not spend lots of money for just one day! Focus on the marriage, not the wedding. Like jazzalea said, don't stress about that one dress.
