Everything but especially my modesty

Tried the Rebook Zig lights with Insanity Plyo workout and they were awesome! No more skin coming off of toes! I highly recommend them :)

I made the mistake of buying the New Balance (NB) Duo Sport. Great if you just want a FT (finger touch) heartrate but the chest strap just doesn't work properly - I've changed the battery, moistened the contact area, repositioned and the best I can get is about 4 or 5 minutes of real-time HR tracking. I'm going to see if I…

That's interesting because I was thinking of buying some Reebok Zigs for my workouts. I love working out in bare feet but the carpet is burning the skin off my toes! I tried the ziglites and I think they will be ideal - super comfortable and very light!

The skin on the bottom of my big toe started to peel off from Insanity workouts and my calves burned a lot while doing barefoot workouts as well. The toe is healing up and my calves are adjusting.

I should have been doing body measurements all along but neglected to do so. Clothing is much looser and I've dropped two belt loops and I've head general comments that I look great so I guess I'm doing OK. I've actually upped the intensity of my workouts, I suspect that maybe I have too much sodium and not enough water in…

A quick and easy appetizer is cherry tomatoes, fresh basil leaves and Bocconcini on toothpicks. Then have some balsamic vinaigrette with olive oil on the side (people can drizzle it on as they see fit). Plus it looks great on a plate lined up in a circular fashion.

I'll have one cheat meal on the weekend but I generally stay close to my planned calories. I like to relax on the weekends so I don't log anything then. I still workout and keep track of my calories "mentally". I don't really drink alcohol so there are no beers or bottles of wine sneaking in there

Yeah, something doesn't add up. I think I need to buy a heart-rate monitor to calculate my actual calories burned. The online calculators aren't accurate enough and hence I think they are skewing my total calories allowed. I'm looking at the Insanity and P90X nutrition guides more closely to see where I can tighten things…

Yeah, fixed that after I got a few DMs  @yarmiah I'm doing a P90X/Insanity hybrid program plus I'm very active. I'm feeling great, just having problems dropping the last 5-7 lbs to peel back the jelly off my lower abs

Look for a hobby that doesn't involve gaming, like painting, drawing, scrap-booking or gardening - getting outside in the fresh air is also a great idea. This will help distract you from negative thoughts and hunger pains as well. In essence, you need to find a replacement for food - when we restrict our diets we still…

Yup, I'm doing it now. There are many ways to splice them together depending on your goals. Here' a couple of links to different ways of doing it: http://teamripped.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/P90X-Insanity-Hybrid.xls…

Just started a P90X / Insanity hybrid workout this week. Whooo doggie, that plyo cardio circuit was intense! Dripping with sweat the whole time. Looking forward to the other workouts, nice to listen to Shawn T instead of Tony for a change. Anyone take pre-workout supplements? I've started taking Complex5 by Rivalus seems…

This is my third time around with P90X. In the past I've done the 90 days (missed maybe one or two workouts total) then gone back to the gym to do 60-90 days of free weights and cardio machines. I find doing it that way keeps your immune system up and it also continues the "muscle confusion" theory. I'm also able to focus…

I started P90X again two weeks ago. This is my third time using this program but I've modified it a bit: I do my own Yoga workout (because the Yoga X is just impossible for me!) and I've switched the Leg workout to Core Synergistics because I bike to and from work most days. It's like Tony says: "I love it but I hate it!"…
