There's a website where you can see where your nearest class is. I think it's something like www.clubbercise.co.uk. I looked it up when my friend told me about it and there's abour 9 classes near me - I'm off to 3 classes this week!

I did manage to hit myself in the head with a glow stick on Thursday during one of the routines but overall I think it's pretty risk free. When I can't work out how to keep up with the moves (I have zero coordination), I just jump up and down for a bit. Well worth giving it a go if you like dancing on a night out!

Heya, I'm from the UK as well :) Glad you're enjoying using MFP!
-
Add me if you like, I love having a support network, its been so helpful! :) Good luck with your goal!

It's perfectly possible. I've not always been down on myself. I think like a lot of things if it doesn't come naturally to a person, you just have to make it a conscious choice until it's the case.

I'm with you on that one. My boobs are not thanking me for this particular endeavour and despite losing a decent amount of weight I swear it must ALL have gone from my chest!! Apparently there are a few things that 'may' help such as specific exercises bust realistically I don't think you can stop them melting away.…

I'd agree that it's more than likely that it would balance out, though I imagine it depends what you are sick with. Your body will take a lot of energy to fight the infection but unless you plan to work out too I doubt you need more calories, nor would I recommend a normal work out when you feel that lousy!

I so know what you mean! Three years ago I'd really got a grip with my weight and had reached a point where I was happy with the way I looked and was healthy too and then I let it lapse and put on more weight than I ever had before. You've done the right thing in confronting it and I'm sure you'll be well on your way back…

Welcome to MFP. This place has been instrumental in keeping me on track! Good luck with your goals!

Hey welcome to MFP! This place has really helpedme stay on track; good luck with your goals!

I snack ALL the time! All I changed is what I snack on. I now have a small breakfast, lunch and usually a reasonably small tea but in the midst of that I eat lots of fruit, salad, fat free yogurt, carrots, celery... I've been known to snack on rice crispies when the urge has occured. I think if anything I find it easier if…

I have finally dropped a dress size!

Sent :) This place is awesome for support! :)

That's fantastic, well done!
-
Welcome! This place is amazing for keeping you motivated and staying on track.

I take a multi vitamin but I don't think it helps with weight loss.
-
I know what you mean about people trying to lead you astray! You can do it, just keep going!

I'm over every day on my sugar because of the fruit I eat. I eat a banana, pineapple, mandarin, apple and melon every day so it's always really high. I don't know if it's a truly bad thing...gotta be better than being over for eating chocolate and sweets.
-
Feel free to add me if you like. I'm loving this place and the support from others really helps you stay on track!
-
Wow, you really do look the same! That is so awesome. Well done!! :)

I would have thought it depended on your lifestyle and the times you're normally awake. People on lates for example may eat their final meal at 10pm but not go to bed for hours afterwards. I work until 6pm most days and still go swimming, dancing etc on a number of those days. I still had the lifestyle at my smallest and I…

Well done! That's a great achievement!

I want to lose weight for my health mainly. I have family history of heart disease on both sides and have severe asthma, so the extra weight is doing me no good at all. I also feel I've lost a lot of confidence since I put on weight. I have never been a skinny girl but I was quite a reasonable size until I met my partner a…

Have you tried swapping some food for low calorie options? I'm never filled with physical hunger, only the occasional emotional hunger that I can usually combat by keeping busy. I eat lots of fruit and my lunch goods throughout the day so that I never really feel hungry too often.

Welcome to MFP! I'm in England too and have definitely found the support of this place has really helped keep me from falling off the wagon and not getting back on! Good luck with your goals - keep chipping away at it and you will get there!
-
I've found that I've fallen off the wagon a few times. I'll do really well for a few months and then hit a wall and struggle to get back to the motivated place! I normally find that looking at photos of myself when I was slimmed compared to now usually give me the kick I need or making the effort to go for a short walk or…

I don't think I could go long without cheese. I eat a fair bit of dairy in cottage cheese, skimmed milk, low fat cream cheese, fat free greek yogurt and occasionally blue cheese - major YUM! The link is going on about the thing I was talking about in that documentary. Made my day!…
-
Wow! You look fantastic! Keep up the hard work :)

Hey, I'm in Newcastle! Welcome to MFP and good luck with your goals!

I heard that too. I watched a documentary not that long ago where a scientist was saying that a high level of low fat dairy can stop your body absorbing as much fat.
