Although I would have to bring home a wheelbarrow full of cauliflower home if I wanted to make enough to feed my family as it really cooks down to very little, lol! Have a great day everyone!

  • 3/13-227 3/14 3/15 3/16 3/17 3/18 3/19 3/20 3/21 3/22 I had lost eight pounds before the holidays and I was on a nice downward trend and then those darn Christmas cookies got me. (okay, so did the parties, wine, and general overindulgence of the holidays!) I am focusing on dropping some weight for more than just cosmetics…
  • Some times are like that! If you think a maintenance week will recharge your batteries go for it so July has you completely recharged. Good for you keying into your feelings, this journey isn't just all about the body but the mind as well. :-)
  • Weigh in day Wed but posting today which I'll explain! SW-226 PW-226 CW-226 My weigh in day is usually Wednesday but I just came off the Graduation/Retirement "party circuit" of the last two weeks. I do feel blessed to have so many nice friends that include me in the celebration of their life accomplishments but I cannot…
  • Love these ten day challenges! I get overwhelmed by the big picture and this helps me break it down into manageable chunks. 6/22 224.8 6/23 6/24 6/25 6/26 6/27 6/28 6/29 6/30 7/1
  • Delayed week 3 weigh in post, my apologies! Graduation season and the events are nonstop!! Been doing well with the food but I must curtail that glass (or more) of wine that seems to accompany every celebration! WEIGH IN DAY WEDNESDAY SW-226 PW-226 CW-224.8 Have a great week everyone!
  • Will do! Yes, my PW was 224.
  • Really enjoyed the last time I joined a ten day challenge but fell apart once it was over. “It’s not a diet, it’s a lifestyle” is a mindset that I’m now focused on truly adopting. 6/12 228 6/13 226 6/14

  • New to 10 day challenge but not new to MFP. Struggling with the big picture so the idea of ten days at a time is appealing to me! 5/28-225.8 5/29-226 😳 5/30-224.2 😁 5/31-223.2 😁 6/1-222.8 😁👍 Loved the challenge! Thanks

  • This. Totally agree. I could have a drink every night when I get home from work but I know it is just that I am looking for something to signal the transition from the end of the work day to being home. A glass of wine or beer is often portrayed to signal that transition. It's not called Happy Hour for no reason! LOL I…
  • Did you buy your bike from a bike shop? If so, they will be willing to do a fitting for you and that might be just what you need to make a difference. If you bought it elsewhere, playing around with the seat adjustment might be helpful. Bike shorts will help!
  • Please add me as well! I am 5'4 and need to lose sixty pounds. I have lost ten but stalled and would love the motivation of a group. Thank you!
  • Congrats on a great job both of you!!! You are an inspiration!!!!
  • Everytime someone replies to a thread it "bumps" the thread back up to the top of the page. As more people will see a thread at the top of the page posters will reply using only the word "bump" to make that happen. A good recipe will often get bumped several times by people who like it and want others to see it.
  • Love this. A simple statement to regroup.
  • Nuts are healthy but high in calories. Be very mindful of portion control when snacking on nuts, it is easy to go overboard. Weigh out the portions a few times to get a feel for what one portion is. It is usually a small handful. I can throw back five "small handfuls" without even realizing it if I don't measure them or…
  • I do drop off at parties after age 7 but that is the one party that I always stayed at! It's crazy that parents drop and run at a pool party! Matter of fact, sadly, I have stopped allowing my children to attend pool parties because of the children who are dropped off and also the children who's parents do stay but have…
  • Truthfully, I am actually kind of shocked by how many people wouldn't drop off. Where I live, it is pretty customary to drop off. I had my son's 9 yo bday party at a venue similiar to Chuck E Cheese last Friday and only one parent stayed. I haven't stayed at a bday party for the last two years. I think it all depends. In…
  • That song is hilarious if you substite the word balls for the word ears. Try it, I dare you to make it through the whole song without dissolving into a fit of adolescent giggling. I know I can't.
