Not sure if my schedule could handle insanity right now, but more power to you for committing to a start date! There are already a ton of Insanity/Beach Body groups out there that I would recommend joining since then you'd be joining a group with 2,000-3,000 members! If you click on "Community" you'll get a drop down menu…

There is a group you can join on here called "Petite Girls Unite".... it's for women 5'4" and under :)

oh Bump! I love blueberry muffins and have been searching forever for a healthy recipe!

When I had knee pain, it was exactly like you described. It would start hurting around mile 3-4 and made it where I had to walk the rest of my route and couldn't run the next day. My pain was sharp, and got worse the farther I ran. It was just on the outside, and slightly behind the knee as well. When I went to physical…

I opt for once a week also. And sometimes I try to go 2 weeks at a time so I don't get obsessed. The changes I see in strength, or how my jeans are fitting, are more important than a number on the scale....

Oh man I love this thread!!! I was just about to post one for cold running tips.... I'm in Montana where we have been rocking 15 degrees the last couple of weeks. I am also doing about 4 miles per run, and am seeing a significantly lower average pace too..... I've heard that running in such cold weather can actually hurt…

I just started month 2, but feel free to add me as an accountability buddy. I am on MFP pretty much everyday, and although I'm going to be a month a head, I would still love to swap success/sore muscle stories! Dig deep and focus on Shaun T's abs :)

For me, the gym I go to (at the university) is across town. So I found that having a treadmill at home made it more likely for me to actually do it. Because instead of driving 20 minutes to get to the gym, then only being able to run for a half an hour, I could just go downstairs and actually get a good, long run in. But…

Well serious kudos to anyone who has finished the program or in the process :) I've heard people say they see the most results in month 2 and now I understand why. You definitely shouldn't let me scare you, I just wasn't ready for some of the really different moves (squat push-ups, and side push ups come to mind). But…

Yep! Serious love/hate relationship with running. Working my way up to (hopefully) my first half marathon this July :)

I'm not married/engaged, but I don't think it's a big deal if you don't wear it at the gym. Wear it before the gym, and after the gym, but I totally agree about worrying that it may fall off or get broken during a hard workout.

starting a much anticipated book, painting my nails, making a mess, vanilla chai tea, the view from the top of a mountain (I live in Montana and we have some good ones), zumba, squatting more than the boys, and grilled cheese sandwiches

@ericadawn92 I love the 4th one! The dress is adorable, and the shoes are hilarious!

I am in week three, but feel free to add all the same :) there is also an Insanity group on here that I would recommend. Good luck to ya!!

I'm only on month one, but from what I've heard about month 2 it's pretty brutal. So I would definitely say don't continue on. Maybe just start back with day 1 of month two. See how you feel during and after that workout. If everything feels good, I say do day 2. But if you're still not quite ready to jump back into such…

I HATE the feeling of seams in my socks, so I turn them inside out :)

I'd say as long as your body is looking better and you've lost inches, the weight gain is probably due to muscle gain! .... So congrats!!! I'm not quite halfway through the first month, but if I can have similar results to yours I will be thrilled!!

Because being single is a gift! I have big plans to see and change the world, and I deserve to do so selfishly. The right guy will come my way, but I intend to live my life for me in the meantime :)

I have heard this too....for me, I have way too sensitive of a stomach to eat much of anything before working out. But I have found drinking some juice before I workout still gives me some energy but isn't so much that I feel "burpy"

Total book-a-holic too! I'm currently reading Kite Runner which I absolutely recommend to any and all :) My goal weight is also about 15lbs away, but I've been strength training for a while, so I'm looking to keep getting stronger AND burn some fat! Definitely feel free to add :)

Also a 20 year old, full time college student. I'm majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in teaching english as a second language. I've played sports my entirely life, but definitely saw the pounds pile on after high school as well when I wasn't playing nearly enough softball or soccer to equal my carb addiction :)…

Can't give you a number amount, although I've heard anywhere from 8-10 cups a day. But the bottom line is that water is AWESOME, especially for weight loss and overall heath. Our bodies are comprised of about 60% water (this number changes depending on the source, but it's always a majority). Water is therefore super…

I don't know if this is the most effective way, but I received this website from another MFP member. It's a calorie calculator based on your heart rate. This is how I've been logging my Insanity workouts. Even though I don't have a heart rate monitor, I manually take my heart rate throughout the workout, and then enter the…

I am all about gaining muscle and definition, however I am still in the losing stage right now ..... but I'll still be your friend if you want :)
-
I'm 20, 5'4" with and end goal weight around 125-130. Feel free to add me :)

I'm also looking to lose around 20lbs and am 20 years old :)
-
felice03, your comment made me laugh WAY too hard! :D
-
I'm 20 from Montana :) Feel free to add me, along with anyone else as I am also looking for some similar aged motivation buddies.
-
Hey! I'm also a full-time student (20) and would love some similar friends as well!
-
I'm 5'4" as well and am hovering just outside of that 145 range as well. 125 is my final goal weight so THANK YOU so much for posting your story!! You look absolutely stunning, and 100% motivating! Keep up the great work and enjoy that new look!!
