Thank you @bowlerae I'm definitely going to try this!

I miss Chicken Tikka Marsala with a somosa on the side. Sigh...LOVE. I can skip the rice NO PROBLEM and just scoop it up like soup, but even without the rice it's so high carb.

I'd like to join to. I'm back on track as of yesterday. CW is 128.8 and goal weight is 115. I hit 115 in july and have slowly crept back up. My macro goals are currently carbs - 5%, protein - 30% and Fat 65%. I get my 10K steps in nearly everyday typically and I want to start lifting again (which I was doing regularly when…

I love this post. I'm re-joining, I was all in through the summer and then fell off this fall. Back on track and feeling so lucky to have this community to lean on (even though I do feel guilty for leaving for awhile...). Thank you all!

oh, they all sound great. I've been wanting to try the stand-up paddle boarding. I just rewarded myself with new work clothes which I needed desperately. Mine were really sagging and baggy. Congrats on reaching your first goal!

I believe it only works on desktops.

I've been sneaking the kids Easter candy every day. A little less every day but still every day. yesterday I asked my husband to "put it away" just to get it out of my sight b/c it was just sitting on the counter. He forgot and I dug in last night too. This morning when I came down to breakfast it was out of sight and I…

Thanks @KnitOrMiss and @Christine_72 I appreciate your responses.

Thanks for your response @KnitOrMiss but at the time I wasn't manually logging workouts, I was only relying on the fitbit adjustment and it still went back and reduced significantly (by hundreds) starting several days back. I only started manually adding my exercise calories when I noticed what was happening so I would…

Have any of you noticed that previous days fitbit calorie adjustment changes? I started manually logging my workouts b/c after 3 or 4 days I noticed my 400 or so calorie adjustment was reduced to 20 or 30 calories. I have no idea why it's doing that. Not a big deal, but sometimes I like to look back at previous weeks and I…

I was wondering if my spotting had anything to do with this new woe. Sounds like it might. I'm on the continuous pill and haven't had any issues with spotting for about a year until I started eating LCHF. Now I spot regularly, but it's extremely light. I'm hoping I'm about done with that now.

new one for me. thanks for sharing!
-
feel free to add me. I've been eating LCHF since November of last year.

These comments have been really helpful. Especially about not weighing in after a hard workout. For me personally I didn't like the stress of weighing myself every day and seeing or not seeing what I was hoping for, but when I switched to weighing myself only one day a week (a set day). I would move that day too in hopes…

Goo Best wishes armynurse30. I'm also picking myself back up and getting back on plan. I slowly gave in to the holiday cookies, etc. and then found myself all out on a 10 day business trip with full catering for breakfast and lunch and indulgent dinners. I'm not disciplined enough, it seems, to handle the temptations away…

Have mine now for the last week. Loving it so far. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/profile/annie422

So happy for you!!!

I've always told myself I have terrible will power and an addictive personality. I can honestly say I've never even taken one puff from a cigarette because I had convinced myself that I would immediately become a chain smoker. I used the same excuse for my sugar habit and all of my fails fed into that. I would go low carb…

Feel free to add me. I've been LCHF/Keto since the beginning of November, so still pretty new for me. I work out of the home, but I have 3 kiddos, 10, 8 and 6.

Thanks for your response!

So, I've been struggling with the sodium piece. My blood pressure is a bit high and my doctor has told me to watch my sodium intake. My husband, who was a chef when I married him, has been a HUGE help to me with LCHF, making me scratch meals that are delicious and on plan. I couldn't do it without him. BUT, he is trying to…

Hi Maro, would love to know the full name of the OKL facebook group. when I searched OKL I got Oklahoma State stuff.

Hi, I'm on day 2 and suffering from low carb flu, but excited to be here and would love to also add you as friends for support. I have about 20 lbs to lose and I've been hopelessly addicted to sugar.
-
Love this! I'm going to try to implement the 3 bite rule in the future. I overindulged some on Saturday, a lot on Sunday, but luckily was really good during the week and ended up losing 1lb for the week overall. Back on track though. It's the kids Easter baskets still on the kitchen counter that are going to kill me. I…

Hi Realtree, what were your side effects on synthroid vs. Armour if you don't mind me asking? just starting to look into this and hope to talk to my doctor later today. they automatically prescribed me levothyroxine, but I get the feeling it's their default and not really specific to the patient.
-
I was just diagnosed last week as well. Feel free to add me. haven't started meds yet but will soon and trying to research synthroid vs. Armour and would love any experiences folks have had with them.
-
I started January 14th. Feel free to add me. Best of luck to everyone!

Just started today so I'm a day behind most of you. I may try to play catch up this wee and get back on schedule. Good luck everyone!
