I was diagnoised when I was 18. I am 44 now. Before I was diagnoised, I was extremely tired and always cold. I was very active (year round soccer) so I never had an issue with weight gain. I get blood work done once a year and I have been at the same dose for the last 8 years. I still get a bit cold now and then. I do…

I did this a while back for a few weeks. Have to say it is an amazing workout for those needing to tone their thighs, legs and rear. I started it up again and I am planning on doing it 5 days a week for the next month.

I am on Day 2. Would love to join you!

I use all sorts of fruits, then add Greek yogurt or protein powder. Also add spinach along with the fruit.

I have hypothyroidism and have had it since I was 18. I am 44 now. My mom became concerned when I was younger because I was always tired, cold and did not have any energy. I was at the point where I was cold when no one else was. Went to the doc, and a simple blood test showed my thyroid was low. Now I am on medication.…

Bump! Have been wanting to start this. Will start on Monday. Thanks for the link.

Just started 50,000 units of vitamin d for 8 weeks. I am severly deficient so my doc prescribed this high dose. This dose is not uncommon for those who are severly deficient. Still tired after one week, but doc said it could take a few weeks to feel better.

Consider getting your iron and vitamin D level checked. I was the same way, always tired (even though I take my thyroid meds and those tests are normal). After blood work from my yearly checkup, the doc said I was severly deficient in vitamin D (I live in Seattle). She started me on 50,000 units once a week for 8 weeks.

I have been on meds for hyothyroidism since I was 18. I am 44 now. When I was first diagniosed I was always tired and cold. Meds did help. Now that I am older, I seem tired again. Have gone in and check my thyroid level and all is normal. I am sure part of that is having two active boys and our late evening at their…

I have a Polar FT4 as well. The first time I used it I was disappointed. I honestly thought I was burning a lot more. I would guess it was accurate with you, as it was with me. When I did the same DVD again (30DS) I worked even harder. I gave it everything I had. I burned and extra 137 calories. so, my 201 from before was…

I just started it for a second time. The first time I did not stick with it. I have seen people have such success with it. I am sticking to it this time. Good luck!

I workout 5 days a week. Sounds like I need to do interval training. I have not done that yet. Thanks so much for the ideas. Interval training, here I come. :)

Just bought this. I am in.

Great job!! Those plateaus are hard. I have been at one for 4 weeks now. Nice job sticking with it. :)

I completely agree with this. Once you are on the right dose for you, your body will level out. I have been on synthroid since I was 18. I am 43 now. It may take a few months to get to the right dose, but your doc will monitor you closely.

Yeah, thank you. 44 next month. :)

You look fabulous! What is your exercise routine?

You will feel much better once you are on it. Your doc may start you on a lower dose then up you depending on your lab work. I get lab work done once a year to make sure my levels are where they are suppose to be. I have not needed my dosage adjusted in the last 20 years or so. It is something you have to take every day.…
