My husband will sometimes get cranky (or roll his eyes), but I'd like to think a lot of that is because when I'm working out he's on kid duty, which is new to him. I've only recently decided that I was going to work out while the kids were still awake (because the zumba class is only offered once a day) and it puts a dent…

I had my Implanon removed in January (trying to get pregnant) and had it almost 2 years. I had NO side effects at all. No weight gain, no acne, no mood swings...no periods. By far the best birth control I've ever used. Will more than likely go back on it after the next baby.

I've been trying to get healthy for years now....I'm losing inches, and my clothes are getting smaller...but for some reason I can't drop the weight! Frustrating, but I'm trying to look at the bigger picture. We have an almost 2 year old, and just starting TTC for #2 last week. Feel free to add me! Good luck! :)

I took Adipex for a few months October 2011-lost 37 pounds. As of yesterday...I had gained 40 back. Obviously it worked, but not long term, which completely defeats the purpose. So...no, it didn't work for me. Now I'm 3 pounds heavier and MAD that I let myself gain it all back. Trying it the right way this time, which will…

Sunday Share: My husband and I were not together when he bought the house we currently live in. Didn't even know each other. He had it built, from the ground up, and none of it feels like mine. I would have done things so different and while I can decorate, it still doesn't feel like mine. We have a 15 month old son who is…

Wow....you look amazing! Well done! Does your wife make you walk around like that at home? Cause if my husband looked like that there would be a strict "no shirts allowed" rule!

Thursday truth: I've been MIA for the last....3 months....and I gained 15 lbs. *sigh* I'm kicking myself in the butt for being a slacker and in the past week that I've been back I've been keeping under calorie goal and exercising....and I feel good!!! I had forgotten how great I feel when I'm making healthy choices (so now…

Love it! Thanks for posting

I'm in the same boat. Lost almost 40....been kind of MIA the last couple months and behaving badly, and have gained 15 back. And it's amazing because that 15 pounds feels like 50! Time to get back on track!!!

^^What she said!

Wow!! You look amazing!! My 36 pound loss is not nearly as noticable as yours-I'm way jealous!!
-
Woo hoo!! You look great! :)

Doing it now! Did 30DS in November, this one seems to be a bit harder. Moved to level 2 last night and it kicked my butt! My husband did it with me (thinking it was going to be easy) and about 10 minutes into it said something like, "holy crap! I thought I was in shape, is it almost over?!". Lol. Good times. I think this…

The day I went into labor I was 315 (May 2011). I lost a quick 29 lbs in a matter of weeks (baby, fluid, blood...) and was feeling pretty good about myself until I went in for a post-baby check up in October and was at 296. That's when I joined MFP. The first couple months were easy and I lost about 30 pounds. At this…

I second the 30DS. I think most of her video's are designed to do all of the above, but the 30DS and ripped in 30 are the only one's I've done.
-
Bite the bullet and do it! I'm way out of shape, but did the 30DS in November and am doing her 'Ripped in 30' DVD now. It kicks my butt every single time but there are modifiers to help you out. Totally do-able.

I agree!! You look great and I'm super jealous of the tattoo's!!

I had a positive test 4 days before my missed period-but it was so light I wasn't sure it was actually there. Took a total of 8 tests over the next few days. I had no symptoms, but we were actively trying. The only symptoms I had the entire pregnancy was the fatique and increased appetite. Oh, and the gas. Oh man-I hope…

YES! I did the 30 DS in November, and didn't lose much weight at all-I think it was like 5 lbs. HOWEVER, at the end of 30 days I felt really good about myself. I was stronger, had better endurance, better posture, and had lost 6 inches from my waist, 2 from my hips, and 2 from each thigh. That's a lot of inches lost. Keep…

Oh my....that's incredible! You look amazing, what a fabulous job you've done!

Why are you already planning on NOT breastfeeding your future children? You say that as a nursing student you know it's natural and best for your baby, and then that you will not breastfeed. Why is that? As a nursing student shouldn't you be more willing to do what is best for your child? Weird. As for breastfeeding in…

I got one for Christmas too, I'm trying to figure out how to convert my heart rate into calories burned. Lots of math involved...yay! :frown:

I've been on synthyroid for a little over a year, I don't remember having any side effects. I also don't remember feeling any different once I started it, but I was 3 months pregnant when diagnosed and many of the symptoms are similiar to pregnancy 'side effects'. Good luck!

^^ Thank you! I figured out what I was doing wrong on my 3rd try. By the way....the "how to post pictures" thread says to copy the direct link....and that totally didn't work. I had to copy the image code (and then fix that too). Maybe that thread should be re-done??
-
Because she's adorable and super lady like. Also, because she ADORES our son. P.S. First time posting pictures, and what I see on my screen vs. what I found in the "how to post pictures" thread is NOT the same, even though I'm following the directions word for word....we'll see what happens.

Oh yeah, your hips spread. Your rib cage also spreads, which is my issue. I wouldn't mind the extra wide hips if the ribs hadn't widen with them. I'm not sure you can do anything to make them go back (but I'm new to the mom club so don't take my word on it).

The day I went into labor-315. Not counting pregnancy, 283.

Star Wars (any) Star Trek (any) Godfather Rocky I know there's a ton more but can't think of them. My fiance and I have this conversation at least once a month, he insists I grew up sheltered. I was too busy on the boat to be watching movies!! My future father in law says that I have to watch either the Star Wars series or…
