  • VERY well said! Agree 100%
  • This March I am 9 years breast cancer free!! I had a lumpectomy and 6 weeks radiation. A 1 in 2 million cancer when I was 18. LIVE LOVE LAUGH!!!!!! Celebrate every day and know that you were given only one body....we need to take care of it!!!!! Congratulations on your years of being cancer free. Even being free of it, is…
  • It may sound really silly and maybe not very helpful to you, but I use weight loss to keep me on track! When I see a couple or even one pound gone, like you, I get excited! But I use that excitement to keep me going. To see how many more pounds I can lose by the next weigh in. I try to only weigh myself once a week (weigh…
  • Do you recall if you lost pounds or inches? or both?!
  • I have been in a kettlebell class for about a year now and I love it. The kettlebell training gives you more of a workout than a barbell (personal opinion). Its a mix of strength training, circuit training and cardio. You might not see a lot of people using them in the gym for a couple reasons (off the top of my head), 1.)…
  • I started out by doing the suggested 1200 MFP gave me. That worked for a little while but I started to feel really tired with all my workouts. I found that I actually wasnt getting enough "fuel". I upped my calories to 1700 and started losing weight again, I feel like I have more energy and all around I feel better with…
  • Go ahead and add me if you like! I'm here everyday, mulitple times a day! I'll do anything I can to keep you motivated and moving forward :D
  • If you quit talking, yea.
  • And to assume I am that I am shaming other people's goals, is extremely rude, out of hand and false. Curvy is not a movement. It's simply a descriptive word. I wish you nothing but luck with your "body type and goals".
  • I already stated in my post that curvy means a lot of things to different woman. Don't be so angry. And don't waste your time judging the character of a complete stranger. You have your opinion, I have mine. What's the point in judging me? There isnt one.
  • If you think that was me "judging", you're not only completely off topic of this post and worried about something that you shouldn't, but you should also know that it was a clear statement of defending my opinon on someone implying that I am delusional about my body image. Take it or leave it, but it appears you are the…
  • Probably one of the most ignorant things I have ever heard a "woman" say. Being curvy doesnt mean that a woman has self doubt or is insecure with the way they look, as it seems you implying. Curvy can be something different to every woman. Having a larger chest, having a "booty"...even a muscular one!, having hips are what…
  • Pushing the stroller would be more counted as Strength. It makes it harder to do the cardio! but they wont count them together. I use the website fatburn.com On the left, click free tools Then click burning calories while exercising tool You put in your weight and pick what you did. In your case walking. Pick the speed in…

  • No joke, my initial reponse....at work and out loud mind you.....was "WHAAAAAAT?!!! That's crazy!!!" Good job! you look great!
  • I went through the same thing!! However, everybody is so different. For example, if your friend weighs more than you do, she is going to lose a little bit faster than you. The smaller you are, the harder it is! 2 pounds is realistic. I shoot for 1 pound a week. After talking it out with my wellness cordntr. at work, she…
  • Nay. It's going to be a very SLOW road if you're putting in what you put out. You're basically evening out at the end of the day and your workout was pointless....when it comes to cardio burning fat.
  • Beautiful! ; ) It's all about the push!
  • Totally agree with you! And oh man have I gotten to that point! I guess sometimes you get tired of fighting the good fight! And you just want to eat whatever you want, however much you want and how often you want! It's an everyday struggle and its hard to get out of these funks sometimes.
  • I have gave this a little shot before, but (and I fully admit) this can sometime be discouraging. I fall into the "why are they changing and NOTHING is happening to me?!". Trust me, not the way to think I know! I feel like I just need to get over it, worry about myself and just go hard on everything. Get super serious. The…
  • Mine started to hurt so bad that I thought something was wrong with me! I had to stop for a couple of days!
  • It does happen to me too. More so when I have make up on, but I figured its because of make up, just the sweat coming out in general and the fact that my face is heating up all of a sudden! and a good amount of heating up depending how hard I push. Again, when I dont wear make up during a workout, it tends not to really…
  • I could smash burger king and taco bell every day of my life....so fast food in general!
  • My thought would be, if they see you every day, they may not notice as much as you would like! HOWEVER, it may also be that they want to say something and they have noticed, they just dont want to say something and make it seem like you were so big before and now you look so much better....some people feel awkward or rude…
  • I can totally relate! That kind of eating is extremely hard to get past. We're American....and woman! It's hard not to eat like that! Bad day...smash on food. Bored...smash on food. Have 5 minutes of free time....why not smash on some food! For me,I noticed that I HAVE to stay busy. If I give myself the time, I will fill…
  • Thanks #Sexiparti
  • @brasslady1- I was wondering the same thing. I could take it a lot of different ways but I'm going to chose just to not understand it!
  • @Luvmysixpack- that is my plan! I decided every Friday I will do a weigh in and do my measurments. Sometimes its hard not to weigh yourself everyday when you see that you are finally starting to lose weight. That tends to be a motivator for me, but not anymore! I can't take it!
