  • I am a full time WFH and have a treadmill. I purchased a flat top that goes across the handles (to set my lap top on) and use it when I'm on calls where I do not have to speak. This has helped a great deal. Just an hour a day. At least I am able to get my 10k steps in. Good luck!
  • Do you have a before picture to share?
  • Thanks for asking this question as I've been having some breast pain since losing 75lbs and that is what they are saying my pain is from. I've taken to wearing a sports bra to bed at night and I'm feeling a little better. Also on Dr's recommendations I am cutting back on caffeine. But all of this has started me wondering…
  • Rich.... Hoping you heal quickly and don't get discouraged if this takes a while before you feel back to yourself, as before surgery. Keep in mind all that your body has gone through. Be patient with recovery and congratulations! I'm very proud of you and just want to say - You got this, Rich!!!!! Looking forward to seeing…
  • You are my inspiration. Thank you for sharing. ♥️
  • MFP of course. 😁 It took me a year and a half with little breaks here and there. I just started with weights and hoping to tone up some of my lose skin.., hoping it will work. For side by side: I brought up pictures on my phone.. Did screen shots then went to my screen shot folder and the two that I wanted were at the…
  • 60 yrs old, 75 lbs lost, in maintenance for 3 months.
  • So glad you wrote I was getting worried. All in due time you will able to be right back at it. You are a true inspiration.
  • Welcome! I don't friend people but just wanted to say hello. Read the pages... Ton of knowledgeable and not so knowledgeable info on here. It won't take long to figure out which is which!
  • I found I felt the same way! I'm so proud of this young man. He's doing great and I love seeing him progress.
  • I feel so comfortable here! Thank you for all your comments. I guess it boils down to me being comfortable with the new me, being respectful of my own morals and just enjoying that I feel great!
  • Hi ladies. I've been reading comments here but this is my first time asking a question. I'm 60 yrs old. I've lost 75lbs and I am feeling incredible! I'm down to 144lbs and a size 10 is a little to big but I can't imagine actually wearing a an 8 so I don't even try. My question has to do with a small battle that I am having…
  • Rich, so glad to hear from you and excited for you. I will look forward to hearing your next update. Keep going! You've got this!
  • I can't believe we got through both piles in 3 days! We 'rock' for two old people!!!! 😁
  • We got all the steps placed. Next we have to get them level into the ground. Then we have to straighten our fence and put down a layer of black weed prevention and place the river rock down. It's going to take a while. But we can do it! I'm 60 and he is 65. But doing it ourselves is saving us $1,500 in labor. We will be so…
  • Couldn't have done this 75lbs ago!
  • Hi Tina. I hope that you are still doing well.
  • Wow! You look incredible!!!!
  • Mixed emotions NSV. In 2020 when I started this journey I bought a beautiful wedding band and diamond. This week I had to put it away until I feel I am at a stable weight. My husband suggested trying on a pinky ring that I had put away because it did not fit. It now fits my ring finger. It's beautiful so at least I still…
  • I know what you mean. I've lost 74 lbs and the loose skin is very apparent. I just have to keep reminding myself that its still better, overall, than the extra weight. I've just recently started toning in a gym and hoping that muscle will fill in some of that. At 60 years old I know that the chances are slim but hey.....…
  • It's nice to get compliments but it's not my purpose for losing weight. At 60 yes old it's more important for me to be healthy and to be able to move gracefully without effort and struggle. It's important to keep me out of the Dr's office and to limit medications as the liver has to filter all that junk out. It's nice to…
  • I totally understand you reaching out to this group as someone here may be experiencing the same thing and may be able to give you sincere advice. All of these certainly have merit in their own way. I am fortunate that my husband is very complimentary. I know that if I didn't have that support that I would be sad. We do…
  • That is it in a nutshell! You've got this!
  • Don't give up on yourself. I failed from Nov 2020 through Feb 2021. I too gained 10 pounds. I was angry at myself but I refused to give in to my emotions. I've got back on track and lost that 10 pounds and 5 more. I actually think I needed to trick my body..... And once I started back up it came off fast. Please try. I…
  • You look so healthy. Congrats to you. My always goal is to keep it off this time.... So always something to work towards.
  • I know what you mean. Not once when I walked into a Lane Bryant or Torrid did I say.. I'm not shopping here because you don't sell size 0-12.' Stores have specialties just like car dealers.... I have not seen any Jaguars in a Toyota dealership either. But I guess everyone has their own pet peeves. 🙂
  • My husband and I went into a local gym to decide if we wanted to join or not. I was standing there with my baggy shorts (70 lbs down) when a group of women came in. Probably my weight when I started but that hadn't even crossed my mind when I first saw them. I saw women 'period'. I smiled but distinctly got that judgment…
  • Hi Rich! Thinking of you this morning and hoping that you are still seeing great progress!
  • You can do it! I'm 60 yrs old. This is my 3rd time back. Every time I stop tracking I gain...... I'm 1 pound from a normal BMI but this time I'm not stopping. I'm going 5 pounds below for a buffer. I'm nervous about maintaining but I'm more determined than ever....I will not give in to pressure this time.... I need this…
  • I eat a can of Progresso Soup and save my calories for dinner. This works for me.
