Most grocery stores have coconut water right on the shelves. My favorite is Conchita Unsweetened coconut water. Good luck!

You should already be well hydrated and fueled BEFORE your run, 2 hours prior to the event . Hydrate the day before. If you are slamming waters and powerades = stomach upset and cramps during your run. A nice handheld bottle(lots of sports bottles have really cool handle attachments that fit nicely in the hand for comfort)…

LOL!

Of course. I waited until I had did my 2nd half before the 13.1 (Magnet sticker) You'd be surpised how many people ask what that number means. 26.2 is in the horizon.

Hi, I incorporated it into my exercise 3 years ago and still have the DVD. It's okay, but not really cardio, if your looking for cardio this is not it. There are moves that she carries on through to some of her other DVD's ie Surrender and they work the hard areas. Use it with other exercise routines and I think you will…

I agree, speedwork is my favorite for HIIT.

Tried and true :) Handweights and a mat, unless you have a nice rug. I did this about 3 years ago and still use it. Good luck, have fun! One of the best, her Shred it with weights is really good, too!

I have them both and like them a lot. I have an adjustable kettle bell. Jillian's Shred it with Weights is great, I incorporate it after a 4 mile run when I need a quick work out that works really well. Bob Harper's he explains a lot of the moves in more detail. I like it a lot too, Good luck.

I wouldn't want to trade places, but I wouldn't mind running with a bad *kitten* runner. Speed, speed and more speed. I live in the boring Flatlands of FLorida. Could use some elevation and high altitude and terrain.

wow, you are so handsome! cute, adorable....you look like your 21.... Sweet!

Great book, I have read it, but I won't go around telling runner's they are running wrong. To each their own.

try chest flys with dumbells. Or chest cable flys. Push ups, as many as you can handle, plank, burpees... anything that works the upper body chest. Good luck. :)

LOL, so can I. That's why I run. "Will run for food" ON another note, 1000 isn't bad. As long as your active :) It's okay, really :)

Yay, I love a super quick healthy breakfast. An alternative to my oats. Thanks!

make a committment to someone. If you work out by yourself, tell someone you know that you plan on working out in the a.m., and have them hold you to it. Committing a plan to someone holds you accountable.

I track everything and most of the time I am over my calories, I average 2100-2500 calories a day. I love to eat, that's why I run

you look sooooooo great! not to sound funny....but your butt is killer! I have learned recently that the scale SUCKS and it's the inches that really count! I love your posts and comparisons! :) Very motivating and inspiring.

From my experience, go for the distance first to build up your endurance. There are running programs you can get at the website Runnersworld. For first time 5k'rs. , Then go for the speed. I have lots of suggestions for speedwork, but I highly would recommend endurance first.. Running outside is harder. Transition from…

thanks! I may modify it for a lower sodium version. If I do, I will let you know :)

Jackie Warner has a new DVD " 30 day fast start" Great, great upper body pyramid workouts!

agave nectar! artificial sweeteners wreak havoc on insulin, your body doesn't know how to metabolize it. Not worth the chemicals. You will eventually get used to not using sweeteners. If you have time, check out this article: (not tryting to start a debate, just useful information) Good luck!…

ewww, maybe he needs to watch Super Size Me. I mean calories are calories, but there is also more involved. Like insulin spikes, how your body reacts to that, like extra Cortisol. The stress on the gall bladder and liver. Not to mention sodium and cholesterol on the heart. NO WAY, good calories trumps bad calories any day.

healing will take time. I know this must be torture for you. I had a sprain that took over 8 weeks to heal, if not more. (I did not care for it properly, kept running on it, figured I could run the pain away) Good luck:flowerforyou:
