I was worried that nothing will seem as intense after, but I realized I'll still have a lot of work to do when I'm done... If I don't go for another round (since I've seen a lot of great results from that) I'll do some sort of weight training, maybe even a month of some Jillian Michaels. I think as long as you continue…

I had a really hard time finding that as well when I was debating buying Insanity. I found a few from random Googling, but more overweight men. However, even they were few and far in between! Despite that, I started it anyway :). I just finished the second week, and while I'm not following the nutrition plan exactly, I'm…

21 and in college here! Working out has become my excuse to avoid my homework.. :)

I work a retail job on the weekends, so I will usually add the calories that I would have if my activity level was set to lightly active (I'm set to sedentary now). It adds about 200 calories... That probably isn't the most accurate way to do it, but it works for me!

You look amazing! You are absolutely beautiful :).

I've been doing it unintentionally for a few weeks, and it has worked wonderfully! I'm only set to lose one pound a week, but I started taking a Turbo Kick class twice a week that burns 800 calories or so in an hour, so I don't always eat them all back. Mixing that in with a day at maintenance every once in a while, and…

I definitely feel entirely starving if I drink a lot of water... If I stick to 8-10 cups, I don't get as hungry. If I barely go past that, which I often do at work due to boredom, I start wanting to eat everything! The dilution idea makes sense.. Good to know!

Thanks everyone! I'll definitely try out some of these ideas this week.. The jerky is a great idea; that never even crossed my mind. I'll pick some up for sure!

I was in the same boat! I was set to 1.5lbs/wk and eating 1,400, but I found out my BMR was actually 1,600. I set it to 1lb/wk, and now I eat around 1,600. The slower loss is kind of depressing, but I feel a heck of a lot better. After a month of slow loss, I tried to go back down to a quicker loss, and after one day, I…

I've tried all times of day, from 4:30am to 10pm, but the best times for me seem to be around 6-7am or 3-4pm. I have the most energy early in the morning, so I'm more apt to push myself harder. It also puts me a cheery mood for at least the first half of the day! When I do late afternoon/early evening, I usually get my…

I definitely felt that the 30DS was a good build up for RI30 and fairly simple, but I saw some great toning and lost almost 2" off of my stomach from RI30, even with only a so-so diet. I also didn't get as bored; she was kicking my butt too hard for me to think it was boring!

I felt the same way, and though I know my less than ideal eating was one factor, trying some HIIT training really gave me a crazy boost! It's a type of interval training. I definitely recommend Googling it :).

I own quite a few of her DVDs haha, but I had the best results with Ripped in 30. I lost almost 2 inches in my stomach, and that was with poor eating :). I'm doing her Yoga Meltdown, and I really like it so far! It's a pleasant 300 calories burned per session :).

I'm only halfway to my goal weight, but I have noticed people are nicer in general. I think that might be in part to my new found confidence. However, I've found the most response at the gym. The men are MUCH nicer; they always hold open doors, smile, wish me a nice day, etc. The women, on the other hand, seem to be a lot…

I use Just Dance 2 when I'm really loathing the gym.. If I try hard to move a lot and really look ridiculous to dance, I'll burn upwards of 400-600 calories in an hour with my HRM :).

Here's my latest playlist.. I try to keep it upbeat, hence some of the silly music that makes me wanna shake it :). Thank you Zumba for a little inspiration!
-
To prove to myself that I can do it. To have a reason to buy new music on iTunes to turn into playlists for the gym. To get in better shape so I'm not huffing and puffing when I walk around campus to get to my classes. Because it makes me feel bad-*kitten*. Super bad-*kitten*.

Did Day 3 of Week 4 this morning! I'm housesitting this week, and I was worried I wouldn't be able to pull it off.. I moved their dining room table and busted it out :). It was the first time I did it on carpet, and I much preferred it to the wood + yoga mat at my house! I still can't do the burpees haha, so I did punches…

Yay, almost done! I had to take my two days off in a row because I hurt my knee spending waaay too much time walking at Disneyland, but I attempted W4 D2 today. I had to modify quite a bit, but I still made it through! I've decided I really love the supermans with a shoulder press, but my do those chaturangas hurt! I still…

Great job! :) I attempted W4 D1 this morning too.. Oh my, it was intense! Usually I'll feel any soreness the next day, but I can definitely already feel it. I also had to modify both of those moves (I've never been able to do the renegade rows.. I can't seem to lift my arms while in plank without falling flat down!) along…

I only have one more day of W3 to do, then time for the dreaded W4! I was supposed to do my last W3 day today, but throwing in an extra 30 minutes of cardio everyday has finally caught up with me... Time for a day off :). Has anyone started W4 yet?? I'm terrified! I was wondering if I should keep trying W3 until I feel…

I had no idea how bad that one cookie here or there all day was. I had no idea that I could ever wear a size medium. I had no idea that I could ever weigh less than 200 pounds. I had no idea that I would look forward to working out. I had no idea that I would get sick when I tried to eat fried foods or very unhealthy stuff…

Did W3 D1 today.. Glad to hear I'm not the only one who had a hard time with the rock and roll squats! I think I sat there with my mouth gaping wondering how it was even possible before I tried and failed.. Thank goodness no one was downstairs watching haha.. I did like the bear walks though, for some weird sadistic…

Was super tempted to sleep in, but got my lazy butt up and did W2 D4.. One more day left for me! I was pretty tired, so I didn't burn as many calories as I would have liked, but I was proud of myself for even doing it, no matter how half-assed my attempt was  To make up for my laziness, I did 45 minutes of Zumba…

Did W2 D3 today... Those planks are horrid! I end up just catching my breath during the half crows, though I did just try straight up push ups today, so at least I was still working. I also realized I can barely do any of the core moves, so I'm gonna look at some other core exercises. I just got some Zumba DVDs in the…

I definitely second this! I've used her 30 Day Shred DVD, and I'm currently doing Ripped in 30. Even though I haven't followed them faithfully for 30 whole days, I've lost plenty of inches, and I always look incredibly toned! The DVDs are only 25-35 minutes a day, and you can even throw in some cardio if you have the time…

Just finished W2 D2! When I did W2 D1 yesterday, I thought I was going to die! I spent the whole time watching the moves thinking "What crazy person can even do that?!?" I was really discouraged, but I gave it some effort today, and I did it! I still have to modify some abs stuff (my god, my core must be…

Can I join you guys? I started RI30 on July 5th :). I just did my first day of Week 2 today and since it nearly brought me to tears with the huge jump in intensity haha, I could use some support :). I second with whoever said she was trying to kill us!!
